Car parking was slightly difficult ,this hard been one of the reasons for Our selecting Vale House,as parking in Southport is expensive ,but only slightly.

Nice welcome,including a room upgrade,which was complementary a very friendly and engaging owner ,who was only ready to accommodate any requests we made

The house is spotless and beautifully kept but the surrounding area is a little down trodden but I am sure it will improve over time with good b&b like this popping up in the area. If you don't like cats then that could not be for you, but if you you do it'll be purrfect. Breakfast is 8am-9:30 which can be a little early is you're out late. They do own a local café for later breakfast but it's not open on Monday & Tuesdays......so perhaps a later in house breakfast would be better on those days.... but it is a really good breakfast.

Beautiful house, very clean and tidy. Lovely host, very helpful and friendly. Spacious room and spotless bathroom with tea & coffee facility, a very useful fridge, fluffy towels and very comfy beds. Quiet location so a good nights sleep and only a 5 mins walk from the shops and sea front. Great breakfast with a good choice and excellent service and if you wanted it later then they also own a very nice café just down the road so you can do brunch instead.

We love staying at Vale House, it's the only place we want to stay when visiting Southport. Everything about it is exceptional. It's so convenient, couple of minutes walk to town centre, car parking on site, fabulous food and very clean.

The whole of our stay was lovely in every aspect. We were made welcome as soon as we arrived by fantastic hosts. Our bedroom and ensuite was fantastic with lots of little finishing touches, too many to list. We loved the fridge with the addition of fresh milk and filtered water along with the tea making facilities. The breakfast you ordered from a list with a large variety of options. It always arrived very very hot and set us up for the day. It was also great that it was situated only minutes from the train station and although near to the main shopping area it was out of the way enough to be so quiet. All in all it was a shame we had to leave and would recommend Vale House to anyone that loves comfort and being spoilt.

Vale House is a little gem in a great location. Our room The Burton Suite was spacious, cosy and beautifully decorated. Home from home! Margaret was so helpful and kind - allowing us in the room early and providing great communication for our stay! We had a parking space too .. which was ideal for our tired legs ! Breakfast was also delight - we will definitely be back to stay again !

I booked this for my elderly mum and auntie and what a beautiful B&B. The lovely mum and daughter who run the b&b were absolutely fantastic and looked after them so well. The house is spotless and my mum and auntie (who is gluten free) said the breakfast was outstanding. The guest house is in an excellent position for central town ,shops and local amenities Thank you so much from us all for a wonderful experience. We will definitely recommend this b&b to anyone.

Nothing - we stayed in room 2 with the small ensuite - but the shower was great and was great for us.

Lovely place - beautifully decorated and the owners could not have been helpful and friendly. It was great to have fresh milk in the fridge. Pre order of breakfast worked great and we were grateful that our early departure was accommodated. Tall ceilings helped keep the room comfortable on the hottest day UK has seen (July 19th July). Parking was no problem and exactly as described. Looking forward to a return visit in 2023
