The breakfast and evening meals were delicious and enjoyed by both of us. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was well-designed and the walk-in shower was brilliant. The staff were all very friendly and amenable. There were lots of niceties that we appreciated like the fresh flowers everywhere and reed diffusers. We felt that everything had been thought of to make our stay welcoming. Great parking available.

Grey weather, but not sure the hotel could fix that!

The service, from the moment we arrived, was warm, friendly and efficient. The room was comfy, lovely decor and stylish bathroom. Food....its fantastic, 3 courses of beautifully cooked fine dining each night...heaven. The hotel, though a grand building is cosy and welcoming. Great location for Ledbury, Malvern Hills, Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester. Highly recommend.

It exceeded our expectations

The hotel is an elegant building in a nice quiet countryside location ideal for visiting Ledbury . We booked the room called Holly Bush Hill which was very spacious with a bath and shower .Every detail was catered for - chilled water & fresh milk in our room. The room was very warm and comfortable with lovely bedding. Breakfast was very appetising with lots on offer & really well done.

Our room was facing the busy road so a lot of car noise. Very busy in the restaurant so a long wait for our food. However, it was Valentines weekend .

Loved the large bathroom and amazing deep bath. Lovely ambience in the dining room and excellent food. Staff very friendly and helpful and gave us complimentary drinks because we were waiting a while. Excellent customer service from Kate, who also sent us a case of wine to compensate.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Verzon House in Ledbury! This charming boutique hotel, nestled near the stunning Malvern Hills, provided the perfect base for exploring the area’s spectacular walks and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made us feel like part of their world. The hotel’s unique connection to Kate Chase and her husband William Chase—of Chase Gin, Tyrell’s Crisps, and Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar fame—adds a special touch to the experience. Our room, the beautifully decorated Sugarhill, was a true haven of comfort and style. Each room is individually designed, with great attention to detail. The food throughout our stay was exceptional. Sunday lunch, in particular, was the tastiest we’ve enjoyed in years—absolutely unforgettable! Breakfast each morning was a delight, with the homemade granola standing out as a highlight (they even shared the recipe with us!). We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast and lunch in the elegant dining room, while dinner in the cosy bar, complete with a roaring wood fire, was the perfect way to end the day. A fun addition to the experience was trying the famous Willy’s ACV shots—though I loved them, my husband was less convinced! The staff truly elevated our stay with their warmth and friendliness, making Verzon House a place we’ll return to again. It’s a gem of a hotel in a beautiful setting, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Amazing place, hosted by wonderful owners, who make you feel very welcome and always ready to help, if needed! It was awsome to wake up with a picturesque view! The breakfast and dinner was more than excellent, compliments to the kitchen! Good wifi, spacious parking, comfortable bed and big bathroom. It feels that every detail matters and has been considered! Loved it all.

We had a fantastic time. The bar area was very cozy with great service and the decorations are cool. We had a lovely dinner and quality breakfast and a good nights sleep in very comfortable rooms. Kate was lovely to speak with and has created a hidden GEM!!

Breakfast was very good. Very relaxing dining room. Met up with a friend and her young family who live in the area and Verson let us have dinner in a dining room that was closed off from the bar. We had such a lovely evening. I really enjoyed my cup of tea in the morning.

Beautiful building, lovely furnishings, comfortable and stylish bedrooms and bathroom. All the staff were lovely - reception, bar, chef and the owner - everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate our every need. Incredible attention to detail. The meal was delicious - seasonal and creative. The breakfast is incredible - best I’ve had and well worth every penny. Lovely fresh fruit and amazing menu choice of cooked options. Just perfect.
