Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt rained Sunday, ha ha ha ha ha, that's a joke folks. We had a great time.
We asked for the room that we had in June 2024. The request was granted, which pleased us a lot. The location is perfect for us as it is very close to Blackpool North Railway Station. The room was warm, and the bed was comfortable. Enough room to hang our stuff up, not that we took a lot as we went for 2 nights. The owners were brilliant. We went for a special reason and were pleasantly surprised. The lady owner took time out to come and see us. We are going back to Vienna in March.

United KingdomThe only issue i had was with the shower, the temperature was very temperamental. One minute it was scolding hot and the next freezing cold. I didn't report the problem so the owner didn't have chance to fix it so I can't complain in that department. That aside the stay was lovely and it wouldn't stop me from staying again.
Loved everything, price, room size, location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff.

United KingdomWe stayed for two nights and we could not get hot water through the shower. (Nor could our friend in his room). We tried to find someone to speak to but no one was around on 3 occasions. The lesson from this would be to ring the number straight away rather than think it was just a one off due to a lie in. The shower room was small, dark and could do with some aesthetic improvement.
The twin room was spacious with a lovely bay window and a view of the top of the tower. The bed was very comfortable. The room was warm and bright. There were plenty of drawers and a wardrobe with lots of coat hangers. There was a TV and kettle and nice biscuits and plenty of fresh smelling towels..

United KingdomThe shower was cold even when left to run for a long time, although the water in the sink was boiling hot. Also the radiator didn’t work and it was a little cold one night! Also we did ask for milk to be replenished in the room, but this didn’t happen
Location of the hotel is excellent!

United KingdomA few little cosmetic things that could easily be fixed with a little bit of maintenance but that's just being a little picky and in all honesty, the price was really good value for what we got.
Good, quiet location near the north pier and Blackpool north station.

United KingdomYou have to agree on a £50 deposit in case of damages, which is fine. However, we were deducted £25 for my partners child wetting the bed. I gave all my contact details on entry. So I thought it would have been courtesy to contact me and let me know. I agree on the charge even though I didn't know it had happened. As a preventative measure, it would be an idea to have a plastic under mattress cover for the child's bed. I hope the hotel takes this feedback and takes on board what I put forward.
This is a basic but clean and comfortable place. This place is in a good location. The Breakfast was really good and great value at £6

United KingdomThe tv had no remote when climbed up to try and put tv on it would go on but had to face it out the window to get a solid signal and could not change the channel so watched e4 the couple of days we were there. We had a family room, but it would not have been great if we had taken children as stuck watching naked attractions. There was no bin in the bathroom, which was not great with Mother Nature's timing.
The room was fresh and spacious very comfortable.had a bar and pool table which we did not use but is a benefit for nite time entertainment.

United KingdomThe owner didnt answer his mobile. It kept going to voicemail. i ended up sending a email to booking.com. He did though when he got that he come straight away. This was during winter and got soaked. If i hadnt had my mobile or it not be charged it would off been worst again. The front garden could do with a clean and tidy up. It was warmer in reception some times then my room. I would call it more off a bed and breakfast than a hotel, so not sure why it calls itself a hotel. Doors wasnt easiest to lock or unlock but was winter.
Great breakfast couldnt fualt it. A friendly laid back host. Late checkin was no problem. Among the better places ive stayed in Blackpool As a bed and breakfast it was of good quality. It was clean and tidy inside. I needed time to chill out and managed to get it (and not because it was winter lol).

United KingdomNeeds plugs in the sinks that fit, or just plugs. Hotel phone number went to voicemail, no reply to my message. A number given to me, straight to voicemail. The number on the poster in the reception area doesn't take calls. We need a reliable phone number. We said we would be there for 2pm, we were kept waiting outside for nearly 20 minutes outside freezing before another guest let us in.
Excellent breakfasts.
