Our room was small some might say cosy ! Used breakfast plates not removed so tables cluttered .milk in the room not replenished on day 2 and there could have been more teabags

Very helpful staff especially on reception. Very good breakfast .Decorating Very bijou and as a wedding venue couldn't fault it ...everything seemed to go like clockwork ...quite slick service and food was very good

My personal preference is to not have 'music' during my meals. Breakfast was accompanied by singing that was not to my taste. Desk area is too small for a laptop and needs to be shared with the kettle (length of lead).

On the morning we left we had no hot water in the shower so had a very cold shower!

Staff were mixed, the management staff were absolutely fantastic, very approachable and went the extra mile Bar/restaurant staff were mixed, some great, some aloof, everyone was nice and certainly didn’t ruin the experience

Fantastic location, lovely room and balcony, beautiful bath and shower, very relaxing The restaurant was great, nice and relaxing and quite casual, great atmosphere, food was great and reasonably priced The outside space was lovely, ample seating with small fire pits and lovely to sit out on a night Overall a great stay and will return, I made sure to ring in advance and make sure there were no weddings on as it’s not the largest hotel and I can imagine it gets very noisy and busy when there’s an event on

A very loud and rude group of other guests terrorised and annoyed the other guests but that couldn't be helped, I guess.

My relative didn't like the porridge unfortunately, and sadly we had fish and chips one evening, but this was overcooked and too greasy. Otherwise, the food was great

An ideal venue for a long or short stay. It's a fabulous place for getting away. There's great service, and a warm welcome too, For pets, and folk, also beautiful views Isolated and scenic, with decor that's unique The only thing missing, is probably you!!😁

We had a power cut during the wedding and the hotel did not seem to have any plans in place despite there being a cut a few weeks earlier

I booked on booking.com and went for a Classique Grande room. On the listing it states bath or shower. When we arrived I asked for a room with bath. Receptionist said I would have to pay £50 for an upgrade. Very disappointing. Total was over £200.

Stylish decor, with well presented rooms of a high standard. Beautiful setting, venue used for weddings. Restaurant good, staff lovely and very attentive. Will definitely book the restaurant again when in the area.

We booked a grande classic room via booking.com after speaking with the staff via telephone to confirm what to order. We were under the impression we had a room with a bath and this was not the case. The noise in the early morning from what sounded like water pipes/helicopter woke us up twice and spoilt a good night's sleep but I understand this can't be helped.

Breakfast was lovely, room was comfortable and wedding we attended was floorless.

There was only 3 hangers in the wardrobe and the double bed was 2 singles pushed together, nothing that we couldn’t put up with considering how nice everything else was during our stay.

The whole ambience of the place is really nice, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food in the creperie was excellent
