Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe card lock on my door was tricky - apparently the battery needed to be changed. Only a minor problem.
Great choice of breakfast in the light airy basement dining room. Very helpful staff who organised taxis for myself and friend. Both in our eighties, the staff went out of their way to be of assistance at every turn. The hotel is in a nice quiet street but close to Earls Court tube station.

United KingdomThe reception and breakfast room were located two doors down the street, so only a little inconvenient if having breakfast in the mornings.
Ultra modern, extremely clean and quiet room, with a very comfortable bed and a fridge with two bottles of mineral water inside, which was much appreciated on the hot day that we arrived. Great location in a quiet street near Earl's Court underground station, with a huge variety of cafés, eateries and restaurants nearby Would highly recommend..

CanadaThe hotel is advertised as a 3 star hotel but feels more like a pop-up/tourist hotel, so there wasn't the element of luxury that you might expect. The rooms are located in different buildings than the reception, so you have to go back on to the street to access them. The room was quite clean, but there were tiny stains on the pillows. Nothing fresh, clearly the pillows had been laundered, but they weren't pure white pillowcases. The room is a little old and there a couple things that were broken. The curtains were missing a ring and couldn't easily be closed completely. The latch and lock to the bathroom was broken, so the door would not close.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They provided me with recommendations for things to visit in the area and restaurants to eat at. The bathroom was very clean and the water pressure was great! The location is super convenient. Earl's Court underground station connects to a lot of lines, making it very easy to navigate around London. The price is a good deal compared to similar options around London.

United KingdomHad to scan our room card three times every time before the door would unlock and let us in.
Location great for Tube station. We were upgraded when we arrived which was a lovely surprise. Staff were helpful looking after our luggage the day we arrived and the day we left (outside of check in hours). Room was cosy but lovely, everything you would need, lovely big windows and view onto street. Bathroom was small but manageable. Good cost for location. Our room was in a building a few houses down the road, but didn't really cause us any issues.

United KingdomI was disappointed with the room being on the ground floor — it felt more like a basement, which wasn’t ideal. Also, there was no full-length mirror in the room, only the one in the bathroom, which was inconvenient and didn’t match what was shown in the hotel photos. For the price I paid, I expected better.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating — although check-in is usually at 3pm, they kindly let me check in early at 2pm since the room was ready. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a large double bed. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Earl’s Court station, making it very convenient for getting around London.

United KingdomWe had a 2 night stay, but no one cleaned our room, no offer of fresh towels. Which was fine, but the refreshments e.g tea bags weren’t topped up. We only had 3 for two nights so had to go and seek some out. We weren’t in the main hotel, so this was a bit of a nuisance.
