The decor would be hugely improved by some plants hanging over the walk ways and in the spa area, but that's just my personal view and taste

We really enjoyed the pool, sauna and steamroom after a long walk earlier in the day. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant, and it was delicious, although I suspect it depended on what you ordered. The vegetarian offering was a bit everyday food compared with the rest of the fairly fancy menu, but priced accordingly. We had the salmon which was very good.

We arrived 14 minutes late for dinner on Sunday evening and were warned the chef was grumpy so we had to order very quickly. It was entertaining but a little stressful!! The waitress was great though!

The bedroom (140) was chilly when we arrived. The bed was really quite uncomfortable, with prominent springs palpable. It could do with either a new mattress or a topper. The walk-in shower we requested had no grab rails & the taps were unfathomable! An explanatory notice might help! The receptionist misinformed us of the Sunday evening last order time for food. We were told at first that we were really too late, but the staff kindly relented, but as a result we felt a bit more rushed than ideally would have liked.

Near the hospital, so convenient for us. Well- furnished & modern. Evening meal was delicious & perfectly cooked. Breakfast was good too, apart from lack of brown/granary bread.

The only thing let it down for such a nice hotel was very poor toilet tissue , need to tell Procurement at the hotel to buy better !

Enjoyed the whole experience , found the breakfast a little expensive. Thought it was included in the £125 deal for the night , but cost another £32.

The little details are missed, cleaning under toilet seat, carpet stains, and wall protector missing. Having a fridge would be an excellent addition to the room, and a bigger TV. But overall 9/10 stay for us. Would come back!

Hotel was very nice, well staffed and had amazing facilities. Spa and swimming is perfect for family trips. Pricing was great. Room service was very good, food was excellent. The room was huge! very well organised and lots of space for little ones to run round.

Nothing to not like about this hotel on our stay.

Everything about the hotel was great. Only stayed overnight whilst on our way to lake windermere. Didn't get to use the spa facilities but the room was clean, modern, fresh and the food in the restaurant was amazing. Will definitely return if travelling in this area again.

The changing rooms in the gym would really benefit from a spin dryer for wet swim suits The music in the gym could do with being turned down The room could have done with some more plug sockets and some better tea/coffee facilities, biscuits, better shampoo/conditioner etc... Hotel guest sat down playing movies (or similar) on phone/tablet whilst eating at the dinner table in the main part of the restaurant during evening meal (could have been politely asked to turn it off, as it ruins the atmosphere)

The communication could have been improved. No one directed us to where to go, how to get a towel etc...

The room was clean and bright and the bed was very comfortable. The spa facilities were great for the price we paid. The views from the spa were excellent.
