How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very noisy as near main road,will ask for a different room next time. Some guests were shouting and banging on doors till 3am..Pillows need to be changed.
Free drinks! Decent room with everything you need. Good location for me.

A swimming pool is in the other building and it closed at 7pm on Saturday that was too early I think.
The place is very peaceful and not crazy busy. It was perfect for us to relax over weekend. The facility is clean and modern. I love the Aqua libra water tap and good quality free coffee. We could use a swimming pool and golf Facility in that premises.

"Rainforest" or fixed overhead shower. Awful not to be able to use a handheld one or move the shower head down - I'd pre-curled my hair and couldn't help get my hair wet undoing the hours of setting, and as quick as I could put shower gel or sharing foam on, the water would wash it away. The only way to do anything was to intermittently turn the water off and eventually redo my hair.
Nice room, clean, plenty of sockets.

Not being woken by workmen renovating room next door at 8 am when we had the do not disturb notice on the door. The padded mattress cover did not fit and came off during the night as did the sheet above it which was too small. Woke up laying directly on the mattress. Very, very difficult to find the way to the hotel after leaving the main road. The signage needs to be lit up. Had difficulty trying to work out how to find the wifi.
Room was excellent. Nice large parking spaces.

Food was expensive. Ordered from the bar menu, hotdog, chicken burger and extra chips came to almost £50. I thought that was a bit steep for all it was. And buffet is £30 per person. Again would need to be very hungry to get the benefit of that. Next time I go back I will eat elsewhere.
It was a lovely quiet and clean place, rooms comfortable and staff friendly and helpful.

We couldn't work out how to watch TV on the TV. We could connect YouTube. We know if we had asked reception you would probably have told us how to do it but we weren't that bothered.

The room was compact. Not enough information given on arrival, ie. use of leisure club, timings and cost involved, no breakfast information given just told where it would be if we were interested, no mention of evening meal although we went to a nearby pub because we could eat early.
The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and check in was very quick.

The all inclusive evening buffet is too expensive. Better to go over to the restaurant at the waterfront hotel.
Fine for a business stopover. Good breakfast. Reception staff were fantastic. Checkin process was very slick.

As somebody with very limited mobility and only able to walk with a stick, it was disappointing at breakfast to see three members of staff standing around chatting whilst I hobbled to get an orange juice, back to the table, then a coffee, back to the table, then a croissant, back to the table, no offer to help me. Disappointed that for the hot section I was told that they don’t do fried eggs, I’ve never heard of this before. Poor customer service.
Nice surroundings, comfortable room. When I arrived for check-in late in the evening, Pauline was wonderful, I have limited mobility and when I was told my room was in a block a fair distance away, she drove me there, lovely lady and exceptional service.
