A bit noisy with traffic but had ear plugs that staff had left in a little box so used them and it muffled the sound😊

Location great ..I had informed hotel that coming through to see show for my friends birthday and staff left balloons and a lovely postcard in room for her arriving... nice touch…staff lovely and helpful…we arrived earlier than expected and thought would leave luggage at hotel but young lady at desk gave us the room key and allowed us into room which was fab..didn’t use breakfast facilities.. would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends😊

Parking was available nearby, but at a daily rate (full city pricing). I thought this might be the case and it is reasonable but more clarity for future guests would help.

The location was terrific and I felt like I received value, given the high prices in Ediburgh. Our view was beautiful and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Nice room, comfy beds. Nice to have complimentary fruit, bottles of water (and the mini chocolate eggs!). Perfect location, short walk to the Playhouse.

Our room was decorated for my son's birthday and there was a lovely handwriting birthday card and chocolates from the hotel. my son didn't expect this, so he was happy. Thank you for your warm service! location is very good, and the hotel / room is very clean. it's a shame that we could stay only 1 night!

The usual things that are mention in the lack of lift meant we got a workout climbing the stairs, and the trams if ypure at the front (though the sleep kit they provide did help with this) , room was a bit toasty but the cooling fan was an option

Got in early but staff were happy to mind our bags and took them up to our room when it was ready. Also had a lovely surprise of birthday decorations put up for my birthday including a card from the staff, on whole very nice place

Lovely welcome on arrival at this small but beautiful hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable and very quiet. It is an excellent location for restaurants and city centre. We will certainly stay again.

The property was in an excellent location, really handy for the station, shops and sightseeing. The room was nicely decorated, clean and the view from the window was perfect. It was quiet even though the road at the front was busy, you couldn’t hear road noise at all. Would have been nice to have some hot chocolate sachets in the room.

Absolutely amazing stay at 28 York Place Hotel, my partner and I stayed for Valentine’s Day, and after staying at other hotels Edinburgh over the years, this one is definitely one of the best! The staff were amazing, even offering us complimentary drinks after my boyfriend helped a member of public outside of the hotel after their car had broken down! Definitely will stay again and would recommend to others! Thank you!
