How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The room could use a small table and a chair to sit down
The staff! I came with two kids and staff immediatelly recognized that double bed wouldnt be comfortable. Unfortunatelly I lost the names of the two persons at the reception desk who were so nice and gave us an upgrade of the room! (I checked in on 10th of May at around 6p.m. )All respect to them! The location, the scent, the cleansiness, the spacious reception room, tranquility. An oasis in the middle of the busiest centre.

No beaker/cup in the room. If you didn’t have a bottle you were unable to drink. Cafe didn’t open for coffee til 8am and the water vending machine wasn’t working in the lobby.
Once you got your head around the ‘concept’ - for work it was ok. Quiet room was excellent.

I missed having daylight and a window, if someone was claustrophobic, they may not like it.
The location was brilliant. The reception area was very clean and smart, with lots of check in terminals and staff on hand to assist. The bedroom had everything that was needed and was very comfortable.

Carpet at the corridors needs cleaning or to be replaced

There were no windows in our room which was challenging but it forced us to get out and about to explore which is a good thing.
The location of this property is outstanding, so central. While they do not have many amenities in the rooms (mini bar, hair dryer, iron) they have rooms available for ironing and for ‘beauty’ that have hair dryers which is really helpful.

Room was too small and didn't have windows or balcony, and ventilation was automatically going off after one hour. No AC so without ventilation it was too hot and hard to breathe. Nothing else was in the room except beds and bathroom.

we originally had a room on 2nd floor and when we arrived back around 11pm the room was vibrating with the bass from the club underneath. was like being in there. we were moved to a room on the 8th floor and that was ideal.

The hotel's location was absolutely excellent, and the property itself offered a wonderfully calm and peaceful atmosphere – a welcome contrast to the energy of London, making it ideal for relaxation. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I found the room to be very comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a larger room. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pillow needs improvement and ventilation can be made better
The hotel is very centrally situated close to theaters and shops. Facilities were great as well as staffs especially Ibna very helpful.

Location, location, location. When you know what to expect from Zedwell hotels (or similar budget brands), you’ll book over and over again. Perfect location for ‘I’m only going to sleep there’ city breaks. I prefer to book a double room for solo travel and have everything I need for a reasonable price.
