Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkI had to leave the hotel to buy breakfast, at least this could be made available for purchase within the property.
I did not expect much and got exactly what I expected. The location was good, just walking distance from a local market and lots of street stuff for sale. Not far from the water front as well!

BelgiumThis is Guinea. Everything made with cheap stuff. Consequently everything deteriorates fast. And maintenance is poor. Mould in the shower. Damaged cupboards. Bedsheets with holes. Hot water sometimes not available. And when there was, it was hard to mix to the desired temperature. Awful sight from the window. Rotten walls and roofs from neighbours at few meters.

Sierra LeoneThere was no floor towel in the bathroom so it left a mess after the shower and the shower was open without a door so naturally water spilled allover the bathroom. Not the hotel’s fault but we had some really noisy neighbors on our floor who were yelling and laughing until around midnight so it made it difficult for us to sleep. There was also no toothpaste in the bathroom.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was also very good.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThis was the worst Experience we ever Had. The hotel Itself was nice, but the guy working in it at the reception was a scamer. We asked him to arrange us a car to the border with Sierra Leone, and he agreed very easily, saying it is just €20 to go there, which was surprisingly cheap for us, but we were happy with the offer. We asked three times if it is to the border and he confirmed. But then, the driver pick us up, we asked the driver are we going to the border, he said yes, but after only five minute drive, he left us in the market, asking for the €20. When we said we agreed to go to the border and not to the market in the city, he called the hotel, and the same receptionist that arranged the transportation yelled at us saying that we need to pay for the driver. Obviously it was a scam, but we are amazed that in a hotel that looks like this, they can employ people like this. I honestly recommend you not to come to this place, mostly because of the people working in the reception, even though the hotel is quite okay and nice.

GermanyService was abysmal and we left with the feeling of having been bullied by staff. First, we werd given the wrong room, which we moved into. This was somehow our mistake. Creating a key for this other room then took 2 hours, but upon completion it had to be picked up at reception IMMEDIATELY. In the morning our parking spot chosen by the concierge was suddenly wrong. This meant we had to immediately change parking spots at 8am.
Good, large and clean room with a comfortable bed. WiFi is acceptable for video calls in the morning amd during the day, not in the evening.
