Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceStayed for a 2 night break. Hotel block we stayed in, was very tired and in need of a good clean up. We had smelly drainage problems in the room, and when reported all housekeeping did was to mask the smell, and no offer of a room move from reception which was poor from them. Dissapointed.
Good location, just outside of the beautyful village of Haraki. Great staff. Great choice of food at evening meal and especially breakfast. Great views from the room.

EstoniaFew recommendations to the property would be getting rid of the cats and birds on the property. Even though i am an animal person i do not like to have bird poo in the private pool and cats chasing my breakfast.
The property location was real good. Nice neighborhood with not so much noise.

IndiaGreat place to stay for a relaxing holiday. The Gaia property, which can be enjoyed by all Alia guests is stunning. The pool bar, sunbeds, cabanas are where we spent the maximum time lounging. Food is great, with generous portions and staff is super friendly and accommodating. Special mention to Danni the manager and Rufina at the pool bar. They are extremely hardworking, reliable and gave us a few good laughs. Definitely coming back here

FranceNot to be beachfront, facing a road. The hotel is looking much better on the pictures than it actually is. The swimming pools are quite small with not a lot of privacy. The furniture is quite minimalistic or not new (The beds are great though)
To be in a good hotel in Rhodes not too far from driving to the amazing beaches of the island; a 5min walk from the beautiful village named Charaki; delicious breakfast and lots of choice at dinner

TurkeyPool was not clean we didn’t use it the second time although was a very nice design… Big disappointment for the kids. Not the best seaside and you need to pay for sun beds we left hotel to go other places specifically for this reasons and paid for nicer seasides… Breakfast is weak…
Staff is friendly, and cares to make your stay good. Room was nice with a small private pool. Value of money is a good fit.

United KingdomOverall we really enjoyed our stay. The only things that could be improved on would be the shower area as the water would end up in the main bathroom area, meaning the floor would be wet and slippery at times. The pillows were also quite soft and would have preferred a slightly firmer one but that is just our preference.
The hotel was absolutely stunning! It looks exactly as it is in the photos. Definitely felt luxurious! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great too with plenty of choice - both savoury and sweet! As it is no longer peak season when we went (early September), there were less people at the hotel so it was much more enjoyable for our group. At certain points, we were the only ones using the main pool and there were plenty of sunbeds to use! Haraki was a cute little village and there was plenty of restaurants nearby, and supermarkets for us to go to. Public transport was not the best in this village so we had to make sure we booked taxis in advance for our day trips or rented a car to be more comfortable.

IsraelI'll start with the "but": the photos on the site mainly reflect the main building and there are at least 3 complexes. Not a single picture of the wing where we were housed so that when we arrived, we were very disappointed. Our room was at the gust house level. The link to the room we chose didn't show a real picture either.
Apart from what I mention in the dislike, the access is free and full to all the facilities which are amazing, the food is excellent and the service is wonderful. Adjust your expectations if you are directed to economy or Alia apartment....

United KingdomThe AC wasn’t working well. There were ants in our bedroom everyday which was slightly annoying and the shower does not have a very good drainage system as the whole bathroom floor gets too wet, but overall it was alright.
There was a good variety of veg and non-veg food and it was delicious. The aesthetic of the pool and palm trees looked absolutely stunning during the day and night - it was very relaxing and peaceful waking up to that view every morning

TurkeyCons: Almost all the food at breakfast was prepared with pork, it was very restrictive for us, we could only eat eggs at all breakfasts. The desserts at dinner were 2 types and insufficient. The last day we stayed, the electricity went out for hours and we could not sleep because of the heat. and the most important problem is that on Sundays the hotel's sunbeds are reserved for locals and you can't use them, this is unacceptable to me. also, it doesn't make sense to charge 20 euros for rent from the sunbeds next to the sea, when you stay at a hotel in Turkey you have your own sunbed on the private beach and it's free.
This will be a long and detailed review. First of all, the hotel was great, it was very well designed. I will talk about some pros and cons for a more rational review. The hotel is quite far from the center, but I do not recommend renting a car, the places to visit in Rhodes are over in a day. Instead, you can take a taxi (it takes about 50 minutes) and rent a car from the rent a car near the hotel for a day you want. Pros: We went for our honeymoon and they made us very sweet surprises. It is very enjoyable to have a pool in the rooms. The dinners are very nice and the rooms are cleaned very regularly, I have never seen any problems. We bought half-board and ate mostly at the Italian restaurant for lunch. The pizzas were very delicious. The staff was very friendly. We loved our room. still, it was a great experience overall, thank you
