Very lovely and clean property with a gorgeous view! Excellent breakfast. Free pick-up and drop-off to port/airport which is a plus. Walk to town down many uneven steps and terrain. Wear high traction shoes! This is the only disadvantage of this property.

So many stairs… but it is expected that in Mykonos. There wasn’t a kitchen available for ordering, there’s no communication from the room to the reception, except walking there (stairs). The toilet could be better, the toilet bow is positioned in a very tight location and there’s no duche, only paper (but I’ve noticed it’s the common way in Europe). Still abut the toilet, the place get all wet during shower, as it is not fully closed.

Hotel Alkyon has a stunning view of Mykonos town!!! Especially the sunset, it was beautiful. It was just 10 minutes walking to the center of Mykonos town, but pretty steep stairs so be prepared to wear comfortable shoes. We booked the twin beds room with extra sofa bed. The beds were on the firm side which is very comfortable and we have a balcony facing amazing view of Mykonos town and Mediterranean Sea!!! The breakfast there was excellent with lots of variety and freshly made every morning. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and appreciated Sophia who was able to accommodated to let us have early breakfast and arrange complimentary shuttle service to pickup and drop us off to the airport! Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Mykonos.

Misleading information from the receptionist about the bus connection to the beaches. They told us we need to walk to the Old Port to catch the bus to the beaches and suggested car rental (more expensive than the ones you can ffind online!). We realized that there is a bus stop only 200m from the hotel from where you can travel to the beaches conveniently in every 30-60min.

We had a very large room, really comfy bed, great shower (tho the lighting was a bit dim). The staff were really lovely. The highlight was the view - from the hotel and pool and our room - looking down to the town & out to sea. Just a 10-12 minute walk to town or the little beach, tho being all uphill on the way back made us stop to admire the view more than once. Really good breakfast buffet, hot & cold selection. Fantastic bonus was the free collection from the port and free drop off at the airport. Perfect place to stay on our last night of island hopping.

Beautiful location overlooking the bay. Though it was only 2-3 minutes drive from the centre but it was very steep so had to use a cab which costed 15 euro each way

The most beautiful view over Mykonos. Love the pool area, listening to music and soaking up the view with a drink in hand. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned immaculately everyday. Great location and yes, there is a little walk down / up hill but it’s so short and worth it for the view. Breakfast buffet was great and lots of different choices. Had a massage booked through hotel and they came to the rooms, was amazing! Would 100% recommend to anyone and would stay again.

Need to work on safety. One morning, I fell on the stairs. The stairs were wet and slippery. There are no railings and warnings. I saw other people slip, but not fall.
