Not a minus, but a wish: it would be great to see the composition of each dish in the restaurant (there is not enough information about allergens in each other), otherwise 10/10.

Thanks to the caring team of Grecotel for sunny Greek hospitality! Thanks to their attentive service, tho it was a dream vacation. The rooms are cleaned daily, the area is green, the staff is friendly and always ready to help (after check-out they allowed us to stay in the hotel, including eating in the restaurant and even taking a shower). Such heedful. During the whole week of vacation we received only positive emotions, so we highly recommend choosing this hotel for your vacation! And we want to come back ourselves.

I personally found the bed a little hard and it could be a bit remote for people wanting to be in the centre of the action. We didn’t though so it was perfect for us!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted at the door by friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure we got a meal despite our late flight time. Food was fresh and tasty and staff were lovely thought our stay. We had hoped to visit the local Agretourism farm but weren’t able to due to a change in our plans and the hotel manager sourced gift bags for us so we could try the lovely products. The hotel is set on its own bay with free pedal boats to borrow. We loved swimming to the island you can see in some of the pictures.

First - bottom line this place is perfect, detailed later. second, a few flaws - Our bed was bad 😞... an old, soft and saggy mattress. I'm glad I haven't read the reviews about the beds, because it would have been a deal breaker for me and I would have missed this amazing place, but definitely they must replace the mattresses ASAP. I was offered a "topper" to better my sleep, which obviously made it worse, and ended up putting the topper on the floor and sleeping there which worked good for me (I do something similar at home...). Entertainment was bad, with the all too familiar non English speaking performers doing covers for 80' hits. I will never understand why no one thinks about changing this bad habit which happens in most resorts, in Greece anyway. sounds was bad as well with too much volume. Shows continue till 23:00 every night which makes it impossible to sleep with anything open, so you miss the breeze and the sound of the waves, which by the way, is heard perfectly from your bed. Beach was amazing and 30 meters from our room door, just keep in mind it's sandy outside but the minute you step in the water it's rocks and pebbles all the way... not ideal but still a nice secluded and relaxed beach. these are the flaws. it's not nothing, but still didn't really interfere with our perfect stay at the Meli.

An absolute heaven (beside the few flaws mentioned above), located centrally but really isolated from everything, no neighboring hotels or resorts within sight, a private beach for real, the plot of the resort is very smart and simple, making it a very safe place for kids to roam freely, easily finding their way everywhere. Food was absolutely fantastic, breakfast, lunch and dinner, extremely rich and diversified variety of food to choose from, changing daily with basic regulars of course, I would never recommend an all inclusive experience when travelling but this time I can't say a single bad word about the food, didn't feel like we were missing anything. staff is very friendly, warm and professional. All and all an amazing stay. Would come back again for sure.

Kids club for the kids was very bad. To many staff but not much and entertaining for the kids (7 years and up). Gym only open when spa is open and need to pay a extra fee for this. Spa could offer more range of treatments that you want and need as a hotel guest, as manicure/ pedicure/epilation etc.

Food and restaurant was excellent. Open bar as well.

The worst thing mentioned in this hotel is the rooms, especially the bed, which is very, very bad, uncomfortable and not double, and the covers are very light, old and worn out. Also, the bathroom needs improvement, as it is very old and does not look good.

The place is very wonderful outside, and the facilities are diverse, especially the children’s club, which is very distinguished and holds many events and parties throughout the day. The beach is beautiful and the meals are delicious and varied.

You feel welcomed from the very first step in the hotel and during all the stay. Staff is just lovely! Very professional, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing, and we feel so recharged after our vacation. Also the hotel is very children friendly, all staff members were communicating with our 2 y.o. kid. A lot of activities were proposed every day for adults and for kids, like zumba, yoga, swimming pool activities, and disco for kids. The food is very tasty with many options to choose from 😋

the inside of the toilets do require a deep clean. they reflected dark stains which was not pleasant to see. I think more information and detail for outside activities should be more available. the staff helped but there was not many options to provide.

food and service was excellent and the entertainment was excellent. the team assisted where they could and ensured we were helped when needed. We felt very comfortable in our room and how the hotel was managed. Food and snacks were always available and it felt like a real holiday. The management and team of the hotel were world class. we left very happy.

The beach is small and rocky, not really for children. The swimming pool was occupied by "towels" since 7am while the pool was actually empty, if you get by the pool by 9am (pool open at 10am) there is no way you can get a bed/umbrella. I had two kids, one of them 5 years old but the animation never approached us. Only once at the pool around 3pm, they were not really trying to get kids away from the parents.

The Hotel staff is amazing and super friendly, they really care about the guests and they have great approach to the hospitality. always smiling even if they have long working hours, the restaurant team was the best. Also the food selection was great and the best thing was that FOOD WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE at anytime of the day and night!

The hotel cries for renovation. Furniture in rooms is really old and beds, even though they are large, are not very comfortable. Poor quality of drinks used for cocktails, wine was good tho.

This place is fantastic for a real vacation. Quiet, private beach, pool, entertainment throughout the day. The food was amazing!! Staff is superb. Everyone with a smile on their face and really liking their jobs.

The double bed's mattress wasn't that comfortable unfortunately. Also the walls in our room seemed very empty! I recommend putting up a few nice pitcures of the hotel/the grounds, since it's really beautiful there! :) Plus that there wasn't WIFI in the rooms, only in public spaces. :( Food was great, but it would be even better with more vegetarian/vegan options! Also that you couldn't lock the public restrooms at the beach bar.

Our stay exceeded our expections by far! Comunication with the hotel was very easy and comfortable over the booking chat option and they really tried their very best to help with all our questions! Then the hotel/grounds/garden and the beach were very beautiful and very well kept. We couldn't get enough of the views! Even tough we had a garden view room we had an amaizing view of the mountains, the garden AND the sea which we enjoyed immenesly! One of the best things though was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff!! Everyone was so nice and courteous, we felt like VIPs all stay long! Special compliments to Giannis and Ioanna from the reception, they were the sweetest people we have met in a long time! We really enjoyed our conversations and they made our stay extra special! We also grew fond of Vivi from the beach bar, she was always enthusiastic and sunny and made the best cocktails! The entertainment all day was excellent as well! There were many options you could choose from and we enjoyed participating. :) All in all we can really recommend staying at Meli Palace to relax! We loved the Food/Snacks/drinks in the All-inclusive package and already miss it!

while the outside and public areas are very fine- some of the hallways to the rooms are a bit lackluster. the building itself is a bit old, and you can tell in some places where there are some leaks and cracks. the rooms are fine and properly equipped, but also a bit lackluster. TV in room has basic SD cable.

staff and service were very good. friendly, always available. the location is wonderful for a quiet vacation- the hotel is not near anything! except some orchards and the beach. the beach itself is the highlight- in a natural cove, with a delightful little island a few hundred meters out. clear and calm water. the whole property feels intimate and not over sized- everything is nearby and accessible. food is plentiful and fair, cocktail bar has good variety.

Air conditioning in the room could have been better. But overall we didn’t feel bad about it.

I almost never emphasise the staff but this time it was truly exceptional. The hotel team did much more than they had to. Wide selection of nice food. The green area near the hotel. Entertainment in the evenings.

Only small issues: Pillows are a bit big for our taste. It is almost impossible to get free sunbeds at the pool area. Queue at dining at the main restaurant if not there at the opening time. The sea is not suitable to play with small children, it gets deep fast and full of rocks and plants, so only good for swimming.

We had a wonderful vacation: Staff is amazing. Food and drinks are pretty good. Entertainment programs are also great. The common areas are very nice and clean. Due to the remote location of the hotel, it was quite and calm.
