The WiFi at the stay wasn’t always working

Our stay in Crete exceeded our expectations! Arriving with no idea of what to expect, we were delighted by Piskopiano. While it’s a little farther from the sea, the village offers plenty of fascinating spots to explore. The complex itself was fantastic, with its own pool and parking, which made our stay even more convenient.

Parking spots are not too many. Unfortunately, you always have to bet on if you will find a place or not, and eventually you have to park nearby and walk home. This is however understandable, due to the landscape of the location.

The accomodation is located in a very nice spot in Hersonissos, the apartment was extremely spacious and comfortable, with two balconies and sea view. It is he perfect spot for families but also for couples who want to relax and live a home-like experience.

Location great but up a hill so not for everyone. Nice pool, very clean apartment and Anna the owner couldn’t be more helpful. Standard breakfast only had it once. Would go back.

There are a lot of steps around the property and a steep hill up from the Main Street which would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Thankfully we managed okay during our stay.

A very comfortable, clean and well kitted out apartment. Lovely views from bedroom balcony. Nice quiet relaxing area around the pool. A great location with many nice Tavernas in Piskopiano and also Old Hersonissos and Koutouloufari which are in easy walking distance.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kalimera Village. We were looking for smaller (number of rooms, rather than size of rooms), traditional accommodation in the hope that we would get a more personal and authentic experience. Kalimera was perfect. We stayed with our 2 teenage (tall) children and were in one of the rooms yet to be renovated. It suited us perfectly, it had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies, it was plenty big enough for us all. It was basic but very clean and had everything we needed. The bedrooms had air-conditioning at no extra cost and the apartment was cleaned every other day. We used the pool on most days and quite often had it to ourselves. We booked for Bed and Breakfast, and each morning the lovely Kosta provided us with a fabulous breakfast, with the bonus of an amazing view overlooking the sea. Kostas and Anna really made a difference to our stay, they were both so welcoming and accommodating. Kalimera is just a short walk from the restaurants and bars of Piskopiano with a large selection of good quality options to choose from. The closest restaurant is about a three-minute walk away (Kostas Taverna - well worth a visit, lovely people and lovely food) and the spa at the bottom of the hill is great for all the basics and lovely fresh salads, rolls and pastries too. We couldn't fault our stay; we loved it and did not want to leave - we hope to come back again one day.

No WiFi in room throughout and the stay and the staircase from the bedroom downstairs to use the bathroom at night could be difficult for those with mobility issues

Bed boards really noisy. Downstairs area looked very basic for a‘deluxe suite’ as described.

We spent a night at Kalimera Village while traveling along Crete with friends. We had a very warm and relaxing experience and a filling breakfast to continue our trip. The swimming pool and terrace bar are beautiful and the view from every corner of the property is stunning!!! Highly recommend!!

Our experience at this hotel was amazing. The people working there are so warm and helpful, trying their best to make your stay an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was delicious, the facilities were clean. The view from our room was breathtaking!!!! I would definitely go back to Kalimera Village, next time I am in the area.

Everything was great. No cons.

The breakfast at this hotel is truly amazing, featuring a mouth-watering array of options that are sure to delight every taste bud. Moreover, with its excellent location overlooking the sea and close proximity to the beach, guests can savor their breakfast while enjoying stunning views of the aegean sea.

Wifi is barely working. You can only send text messages via it. TV set is from 90s and it shows 2 channels only. Furniture needs maintenance. Bathroom: The door in the bathroom scratches the floor making a lot of noise. Also, It was impossible to open the window in the bathroom to let fresh air in. Kitchen: The worst thing is the mold under the sink in the kitchen area. It smells and it is not good for health.

Friendly personal. Good swimming pool. Regular room cleaning. Beautiful adjacent territory. Good price. We have spent 1.5 weeks there. In general it was an ok experience, but it could've been much better if things mentioned in another section were fixed.

The fridge didn't work properly.

I loved the location and view from our apartment, Anna lovely and Costa really nice people, stayed for 2 weeks only thing is the fridge was to small and freezer didn't work, considering this was self catering spent alot more money eating out which proved rather costly but apart from that had a brilliant holiday and would definitely return in the near future. The cleaning lady was brilliant!!

At the top of very steep hills and then our apartment was up about 40 steps.
