Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomAll good.
The location was perfect for the Marina as we were sailing for the week. A modern and well appointed hotel. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A great pool area.

SwitzerlandOur two-bedroom suite was on the basement floor (not a problem as such), but there was no elevator going to this floor (bringing luggage is not easy) and also one of the rooms faced the main street (a bit noisy). Also, one of the bedrooms only had a single bed (even though there is enough space to put proper bed there). Renovation standard of the room (recently renovated!) is not 4*, I would say not even 3*, but this is common in Greece
Great location for a stay before going on a sailing trip - right across the street from the marina. Good breakfast for Greek standards. Very helpful staff.

United KingdomOur room was partly below ground and situated on the main road into and out of town. Consequently it was noisy until late at night and then again from early morning.
The Kos Divine Hotel was in an excellent location on the seafront close to the Marina and a short walk to the town centre. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent both in terms of variety and quality.

United KingdomThe bathroom is tiny for a suite. And my god the noise! The pool blasts music from 10/11am till midnight which even with ear plugs was a struggle. I’ve never known a housekeeping staff quite like it in terms of noise either- slamming all the doors constantly, shouting to each other down the corridors from 7am onwards. The downstairs bar we avoided after the first disappointing breakfast and ate elsewhere.
Great location so close to some amazing restaurants and a short but lovely walk into the main town. Room was well appointed and bed super comfortable. The reception staff were fantastic- so friendly and they couldn’t do enough for you. The roof bar was incredible and all the cocktails served world class- we went as many nights as we could. Overall this hotel would be fabulous if it lent into the luxury idea and improved just a few things.

IrelandThe semi ground floor was not suitable for sitting out on the balcony. I would have preferred if the pool was available to me for a swim earlier than 9am so that I could have an early swim before breakfast.
Excellent breakfast and very clean. Staff at bar and restaurant excellent too.

United KingdomInitially we were somewhat disappointed with our room but it was fine and excellent value for what we paid.
The bedroom was very spacious and the breakfast was good. We had breakfast at approximately the same time both mornings we were there. It was fine the second morning but very crowded on the first. The roof top bar was also a nice feature.

TurkeyThe family room is at semi ground level which could be ok. But this was very uncomfort for us, because elevator does not serve for family room. Since it is a family room it means peoaple more likey have lots of luggage etc. Thats was quite strange. You need carry all of your belongings without any help. There was very bad smell in wc in the room. The staff at the reception desk was unfortunatly not polite. They are always in a hurry if you have any question. The type of their talking (english) a bit in a way of imperative mood.
Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and it was delicious.

United KingdomPool was closed (due to open on the 15th/04) but the hotel gave us an alternative so was okay. The single bed in the room was quite uncomfortable but otherwise everything was good!
Staff were so accommodating, Maria was particularly very helpful but everyone was so friendly! Rooms cleaned thoroughly daily and good selection of breakfast foods at the hotel. Rooms were also very modern and decorated nicely.
