The pension has parking and good facilities. The place is as described. The stuff is very welcoming and cheerful. They provided us with all needed instructions as well as with local booklets and leaflets about Vería. We asked for the bowls and a kettle and they gave everything. The room is spacious. There is also a balcony and the terrace from which you can see stars.

Nice and quiet village, home of a number of UNESCO protected sites and museums. Being just an 1hr drive from the busy city of Thessaloniki and its international airport, I'm very satisfied with my dive-in to the real Macedonian Greece experience from the steps of a plane.

Very friendly host, happy to chat and give local advice. It's not luxury, but excellent value for money. I would recommend it to anybody looking for accommodation in the Vergina/Veria area. The top attraction, the Royal Tombs, is just 300 metres walk.

The place is a great solution for 1-2 nights. The village is very nice, conveniently located to the highway. We were greeted at the door by a wonderful girl, very smiling and kind. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed!

The bathroom smell. No mosquito net - you were not able to sleep with balcony open and during the night it was hot.

Shower floor was very slippery after shower (which has no curtain) bath mat needs to be on the floor outside the bathroom door. Mind the step to the bathroom.

This property was in a brilliant position to walk to the sites. Philip’s tomb was about 400metres from Hotel Vergina. The ancient theatre where Philip was assassinated was a short distance away but up a steep hill and also his palace. Exceptional sites. See this site in the cool of the morning and the walk will be easier. Couldn’t drive it whilst we were there. Pension Vergina was lovely and quiet we upgraded to a larger room. Internet was good. Bathroom was clean and modern. Fridge available outside the room. Aircon was great. Cockerel was a good time clock🤭

We only slept here for one night but the pension is really great. I adored the marble floors, it caresses your tired feet. The hostess was just a delight to meet and talk to: very friendly and helpful. The beds were great, the towels looked new, the shower and AC worked perfectly. We did not stay for breakfast but I heard it's great. Beautiful view from the balcony also. It just was a very comfortable stay for tired travelers.
