Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe really enjoyed our 6 night stay here in September. Whilst we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel/apartments Romantica is very much a tale of two halves. We booked a room in the new, modern section comprising a small number of apartments all named individually after areas on the island. The apartments are stunning, beautifully designed, ultra modern, spotlessly clean and with excellent facilities. We were so grateful we had booked the apartments as the hotel is starting to look a little old and tired in parts. One of the best features of the apartments was the large balcony (which faced east) which we used every morning and evening to enjoy the panoramic views over the Aegean and Agia Pelagia. Our room was spacious, well equipped, had a small kitchenette with a fridge and excellent A/C. It was beautifully designed and decorated with modern furnishings and a super comfy bed. The apartments are also well insulated/sound proofed so you couldn’t hear noise from the neighbouring apartments. We didn't use the pool at the apartments (which is more of a dipping pool) but we sat on the terrace in the evening on our return from the beach to enjoy a G&T and a nice cool Mamos! The apartments have a beautiful outdoor central courtyard and bar area. Unfortunately, the bar had closed the week before we arrived as it was towards the end of the season (mid/late September). The location was also perfect, within walking distance of the town and local restaurants and is a good base from which to access a number of beaches and explore the more remote villages in the north of the island. The ladies on reception were amazing – super helpful, friendly and attentive and they could not do enough to help and please you. For guests with mobility issues they offer a transfer to the apartments by golf cart. For us there was only a small negative which is that apartments join the (much older) hotel which is where breakfast was served.

AustraliaWe loved being able to eat breakfast each morning, would have loved more fresh fruit/salad options along with variety for gluten/vegan/dairy free considerations. One of our guests required these for themselves.
Loved the proximity of our accommodation to Agia Pelagia as well as being able to watch the sun rise from our rooftop pool. We travelled with a group and were able to hang out in the different cocktail area, downstairs pool, dining are or upstairs rooftop pool area with our group. Also loved the different budgetary options to suit our room configuration needs. The hotel was so accommodating when we needed to move guests into different rooms during our stay too & we were able to get our laundry washed here too.

South AfricaThe only problem we had was the laundry. We didn't pay for the ironing service but we did at least expect the clothes to be folded when returned instead it was returned all tangled up into a big ball in the plastic and the actual washing was done very poorly.
We loved everything about staying in this beautiful place. It was clean, the staff were friendly, the breakfasts were scrumptious & the views breathtaking. It started feeling like home & we were sad to leave!

AustraliaNothing we loved staying here
We loved our stay at Romantica Hotel Apartments. We decided to go with the sea view Delux apartment and it was really lovely and probably had the most comfortable bed during our whole stay on Greece. The view from the top deck near the pool was also awesome. The breakfast also was plentiful and delicious. The location was also great being close to all the restaurants. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall would highly recommend staying at this property.

AustraliaThe breakfast was very crowded think it would be better if it was moved to the bar area. That space is not well utilized. Pool fence needed - we have a baby and it was not relaxing ensuring she wouldn’t fall in. A hotel restaurant would also provide additional options after a long commute to get there.
We stayed at the hotel 20 years ago and it was incredible to see all the improvements and changes. The staff are beautiful right down to the cleaners, nothing was too difficult. Room was spacious and balcony with sunbeds were a beautiful Addition

AustraliaIt’s a lovely hotel with great facilities. Everything is very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommended to anyone. The town had a power outage (due to storm) while we were but the hotel was able to provide some back up light so it wasn’t pitch black. It’s really close to restaurants, only a few minute walk. If you want to go anywhere else on the island you need a car.

United StatesI loved everything.
A beautiful property, amenities, friendly staff. Because I was traveling alone, they kindly upgraded me to a beautiful room with a private terrace. The daily breakfast offerings were amazing, the staff was so helpful - I don’t speak Greek but they were able to help me locate a nearby pharmacy when needed, helped me sort taxis and were just overall amazing. The Nepali staff on site were so kind, courteous and always went out of their way to help me with anything I needed - even when I didn’t ask! The grounds themselves are gorgeous, modern, clean and well maintained. The pools were a great, the bar was a great area for friends to gather, the location too is amazing —- just feet away from the beach and a very short walk to restaurants, a grocery store, and anything else you can need. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. (A special thank you to Daniya, at reception!)
