We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

FranceI recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in Naxos, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. They were always friendly, helpful, and eager to assist with anything I needed, which really added a personal touch to my stay. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities I could ask for. It was comfortable, spacious, and I loved waking up to the beautiful views outside. Every detail seemed thoughtfully planned, making my stay as relaxing as possible. The hotel grounds are simply stunning! There are two pools, and both are perfect for lounging around during the day. The atmosphere is very chill, with plenty of space to unwind. Whether you’re soaking up the sun by the pool or enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it’s a fantastic place to take a break from exploring the island. The location of the hotel is also excellent. It’s close to everything you’d want to see on Naxos, yet it still feels like a peaceful escape from the busier areas. You’re never far from great beaches, local restaurants, and attractions, which made getting around easy. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of great service, beautiful facilities, and the perfect location makes it a place I would love to come back to. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Naxos.

MaltaWe spoke to the staff about our dirty shower curtain which needed replacing and it was promptly replaced. The issue remained that it was on the short side for the shower stall and so water leaked on the floor and it understandably caused challenges to keep clean and dry (and safe). The kitchenette had tea but no coffee (although you could get coffee sachets at the kitchen all day long) and no stir spoons/sticks/sugar. The door needs to be opened with a key as there is no handle but you can keep it ajar when outside nearby (the wind did not blow it shut).
The property is quiet, the staff maintain the grounds and keep the pool and surrounding paths clean. The breakfast is tasty - including the fresh local cheese. The bar staff are very friendly and the owners always greet you with a smile. The location is a quick walk to multiple beaches, many restaurants (including one on site,) as well as several grocery stores. While we did not use it, there is a bus stop immediately in front of the front entrance. We liked the vibe of this area to that of the more crowded areas closer to Naxos Town.

United KingdomThe AC did not seem to get cold enough, making the room slightly warmer than what we would’ve liked. This was not a big issue as we spend most of the day outside.
This resort is located right next to a beautiful sandy beach and has a good selection of tavernas in walking distance. The pool area and bar/ restaurant were clean and comfortable- the food was excellent! The bus to Chora (Naxos town) stopped directly outside the hotel and is much cheaper than getting a taxi. The staff are accommodating and friendly, always making an effort to have conversation with us and the other guests.

AustraliaIt would have been great to have some basic kitchen items, eg toaster, microwave. Shower was average with poor bathroom door and upstairs aircon wasn't great.
Breakfast was great, lots of variety and very tasty. Location was quiet. Close to some nice restaurants and the beach. Great pools and lovely, helpful and friendly staff.

United KingdomWe stayed in a little studio with two bedrooms, one living room and small kitchenette area. One of the bedrooms in the studio wasn't designed very well as it had two small windows: one to the bathroom (so when someone form another bedroom used the bathroom at night the light would wake them up) and the second window to the outside corridor that had a light on over night. It wasn't a major issue, just something that could be improved and perhaps should be thought about.
Lovely little resort in a quite part of Naxos. Staff were very friendly and helpful and looked after us very well. Fresh breakfast every day. Two good size swimming pools plus a kids pool making it ideal for a small family holiday. The pools and hotel area were maintained very well and cleaned by staff regularly. Close to several beaches and restaurants. There is a restaurant at the resort as well and the chef was able to cater for our specific dietary needs.

IrelandVery small issue but it would have been handy if there was bottle opener / corkscrew as well as perhaps a sharp knife / small amount of cutlery, small plates.
Superb complex. Rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean & well equipped. Comfortable bed, excellent room service, good air conditioning system. We loved that there was a fridge & kettle in the room as well as cups & glasses. TV in the room was handy for the Euro matches!! Bathroom was spacious & facilities were excellent. Two large outdoor seating areas with comfortable fruniture and plenty of shade. Our apartment was facing one of the lovely pools. Plenty of sunbeds & shaded seating areas. Lovely pool bar & breakfast area. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful & varied. Plenty of on site parking & the location was lovely.....rural setting and just a short walk to several lovely beaches. We'll equipped supermarket a short drive away....stocked everything, friendly staff, lovely coffee shop & ATM machine. Plenty of lovely tavernas within walking distance or short drive. Best ones we foung were Blue Lagoon & Paradise restautant both on the beach. Friendly , helpful staff & owners. Lovely calm ambience on the complex.

IcelandThe only downside was that the mattresses in the rooms were a bit stiff, which took a little getting used to.
The pool area at Naxos Summerland Resort was exceptional, providing a wonderful space for relaxation. The breakfast offered a delightful variety of choices that were quite tasty, and the staff were notably helpful and friendly. The resort’s location was ideal, being very close to the beach, which made it perfect for a quiet family holiday away from the more crowded spots.

First of all, I would like to mention that owners and all staff are really friendly and helpful, you will feel like at home during entire stay. The resort is very calm, cozy, tidy and exudes the spirit of Greece. For someone it's important to mention that this is not a hotel, but living in mini villas has its own charm, especially since the housekeeper cleans the rooms every day. The territory is perfectly used and every detail is very well thought out: you will find 2 wonderful swimming pools, a jacuzzi and many other amenities that will make your vacation even more enjoyable! The breakfast is rich, we were really satisfied. If you decide to have a dinner at the resort I can assure you that the chef will pleasantly surprise you: the fish and pasta we had were perfect! The whole stay was absolutely amazing, we fell in love with Naxos and this resort. I really recommend you to come if you want to stay in natural nature. Also the city center is easily accessible by car (which you can also rent at the resort). Around the resort there are many beautiful beaches and excellent beach tavernas where you can find a lot of fresh food. There are also grocery stores nearby. LET'S GO PANATHINAIKOS! 🫶

AustraliaThere was nothinhg we didn’t like. It was very Cleaner and well maintained.
We had a fabulous stay at the resort. Right from the outset Jiannis and Maria were very welcoming with our arrival on the island. The resort was very nice and all of the small details had been thought of, down to the lovely homemade soap left as a welcome gift. Normally we would have stayed closer to the main city but I am so glad we stayed down at Kastraki beach as it was quiet and charming plus it had more of a locals vibe to it. The beaches down there were absolutely stunning with many options available.

United StatesThat breakfast didn't start till 830 and because I have 3 teens who wake up starving and because we had tours this was hard for us, but the owner did everything he could to help us eat earlier and that was very appreciated. I forgot to renew my IDP to rent a car so we had to taxi and that was very expensive at 45 euro each way so 90 euro a day for a week. So make sure if you are American you get that international drivers permit for the car rental companies.
The property is beautiful, the cats are precious, it's close to some of the prettiest beaches we saw on the whole island and several amazing places to eat!

We stayed at summerlands in early October for a few nights. I can honestly say that we had a very relaxing time. Both the accommodation and hotel were of a very good standard. Our host Yanis and his wife were so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is close to four excellent Tavernas , one of which is the best on the island ( Axiotissa) and yards from a lovely sandy beach. I would definitely recommend staying as you will not be disappointed. The hotel is small and rooms vary in size and some have kitchens if you want to do self catering . The pool area has a hot tub and lovely comfy sun beds. Always worth booking direct
