There is nothing not to like about Kanela

The rooms where spotlessly clean and everything in the room was hand made and unique the rooms were beautiful and pictures don’t do them justice, showers where great to , the staff where perfect and couldn’t do enough for you

Perfect location, next to beach and on the main stretch of bars and restaurants. Beautiful people hosting. Especially Marius who greeted us with such warmth every morning. Cleaner came every day and cleaned perfectly.

A minor point only. More variety in pillow types would help. However, I didn't think to ask, and if I had I'm sure they would have found something to suit me better.

This accommodation came with its own personality. Courtyard with garden, covered seating area, book exchange with mostly books in English (not Greek) and lovely coffee shop and bar. Friendly team makes you feel welcome. Thanks.

Kanela is a very unique place, you can feel the huge amount of love that was put into the creation of the whole place by the owners. Marios and George are the best hosts ever! Very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Cleaning daily. Best pillow ever! The courtyard is pleasantly shady and full of beautiful plants. Cute kittens all over the place! Beach is literally at the back door. Kanela Cafe has the best freddo espresso. Best place to stay in Alykes, we are definitely coming back!!

Fantastic hospitality, good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit (staff knows all the hidden gems), great location for enjoying day trips but also the beach (50m), the cozy town, nature and much more. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was amazing. Everything was clean and of good standard. Bed was comfortable.

Our endless gratitude to the hosts and staff of Kanela Studios for a wonderful stay! Your hospitality, sincerity, kindness made it truly incredible and unforgettable. We fell in love with the apartment and the Kanela restaurant won us over with its incredible staff, delicious food and atmosphere! Special thanks to Mario for interesting routes with beautiful views, for learning to cook Greek cuisine and for a warm, almost family evening in a circle of nice people. You really have a big heart! We were also impressed by the proximity to the sea (10 meters), the beach is shallow sand, the descent into the water is gentle, and the sea on this beach is the warmest on the entire island. There are many sunbeds (10-20 euros), there are sea entertainments. There are many car rental offers, excursions, and souvenir shops near Canela. The supermarket is also open until 23:50. And very beautiful views. In general, the atmosphere of this place is very encouraging to relax and everything is done to get positive emotions. And many cats live in Kanela. Therefore, we highly recommend these apartments, where we left a piece of our heart.

On a few days, The local bars can be loud late at night until around 12am but this didn’t bother us as it went quiet at the right time for us.

This apartment is beautiful as is the whole property. Couldn’t have asked for more from an accommodation within this price range. The owner and his team makes you feel special and is very welcoming. It has some really lovely touches, eco friendly, health and well being conscious. Close to a lovely beach and not far from other attractions. Nice little shower outside Located in a lovely part of Zante. They have Netflix in rooms and Wi-Fi is good. Felt really safe with children 10 plus to run and back and forth to the apartment from the beach.

Absolutely amazing vibe in the bar downstairs with the most welcoming and helpful personel ever. As the small quote on the board in front of the bar says: “may you come as a stranger, but you leave as a friend” that’s how we feel!

Actualy the bed was a bit to hard for us but thats ok

The Manager was so sweet and friendly, we checked in without any problem, we had a sweet little room, everything in there is handmade, the managaer helped us by telling us where we should or could go to see the island in his own charme, the have a sweet cafe, the food was soo good and regional and as a guest at the studios you get 10% discount in the cafe it was beautiful

Kanela studio was lovely, very tasteful, decoration and interior was lovely very Tulum, Mexico like The studio was just enough, clean and comfortable all you need to have a great stay The hosts Marios and Roberto are outstanding, you really feel like you made a friend and they both make you feel at home Its the sweetest kind of people,could not recommend this place enough The cafe they run has delicious breakfast and tje best frappe on the island At night George makes the best cocktails and Roberto the nicest mezze platters you will have Definitely would stay here again
