How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Considering the fact that the hotel was packed for the winter holidays, it was evident that it was understaffed and certain facilities such as the spa&wellness were poorly managed but not due to the staff. The spa&wellness etiquette was neither observed by the guests nor maintained by the management. Something to consider would be applying adults-only hours for the pool, spa and gym.
The hotel staff was great, the room super spacious as we got an upgrade. The food was excellent.

No charging wallbox for my EV - despite in advertising ! Asking for it got reply ‚we do not know‘. Later found 2 socket blocks for 220V and 380 V - but was blocked by other ICE cars.

The breakfast venue could be more diverse and richer in flavours, considering the rate of the hotel price and the fact that it has 4 stars. It was solid, but underwhelming. Also, the fitnesss area is quite small, even though well equipped.
Beautiful hotel rooms, great view and location, lovely staff. The wellness is beautifully designed and the overall stay was very pleasant.

The breakfast spread is unbelievable - you don't have to eat for the rest of the day! The location on the beach is fantastic. Lovely to be able to walk along the waterfront. Probably faster to walk into the Old Town than taking an Uber.

No smart tv, only channels who nobody watches, and today is standard to having ability to cast from your phone on tv. Needed to ask for water heater for coffee/tea. Everywhere I stayed it was by default in the room. I didn’t get a cup, so needed to drink from the water glass which gets hot and it’s hard to hold while drinking hot drinks. Room has a balcony, but there was no ashtray. Cup and ashtray should be somewhere in the room so people can use it if they want.

Getting to the city requires lots of uber taxis. Shuttle buses might be good to have one day

One morning we found mold on one of the small cream desserts, showed staff and were told to just pick a different one. Some others were moldy as well and nothing was removed from the buffet after that conversation. Shampoo and washgel are fixed to the wall at the hotel room shower, for me (1,63m) it was slightly too high to be reached comfortably and couldn't be moved.
Big variety at the breakfast buffet and the beach is right at the door. One of the saunas has an ocean view. Walk-in shower. Good view of the sunset from the hotel's rooftop bar.

Hair dryers worked only on cold. Couldn't set my curly hair. Was told all hair dryers in the hotel were the same.

Could have been a bit more polished. Roof top bar was not in use during our stay. Pool area is 'ok' but not great and would quickly become crowded. I wasn't told at arrival about putting credit on my room for room service.
Location was excellent - unfortunate about ongoing local works which causes issues on local roads so sometimes getting in and out was hindered.
