The dining experience was somewhat industrial and lacks ambience. Although food was good, it does not reflect 5 stars.

Nothing to dislike

Two couples stayed in May. We were blown away with the hotel and how clean it was. Situated in a lovely area, we were half board the food was lovely at both breakfast and dinner. A great choice of food. Great swimming pools both indoor and outdoor. The views for sunset were superb. The golf buggy to get down the hill was a welcome trip and always prompt. Loved the hotel and would definitely return. The small town of Cavtat with the bars and restaurants all located along the bay had brilliant views.

The breakfast buffet was a bit samey and sometimes we had to wait a while before being offered tea and coffee. The housekeeping service was a bit haphazard. They came into the room several times, despite the Do Not Disturb sign being lit. Soap and shampoo dispensers were often not replenished. One time they left only hand towels, no bath towels.

The hotel is very close to Dubrovnik airport, which is convenient. The staff are lovely - very helpful. The sun terrace areas are fantastic. The spinnaker restaurant is really good too. Returning to the hotel from Cavtat could be challenging if you have mobility issues - there are lots of steep stairs to negotiate, however the hotel have a golf cart style vehicle to bring guests up and down.

Pillows were quite uncomfortable in the bedroom. We ran out of toiletries midway through the trip and they weren't replenished despite our requests (more than once).

The private beach was incredible, the stunning views across to the town of Cavtat made for a spectacular back drop.

Steps everywhere and housekeeping of rooms needs to be improved to be true 5 star, however, would return for max 4 days.

We faced some noisy neighbors upstairs and we were not happy with soundproofing but eventually we were relocated to other room which was great!

We enjoyed the location, great choice of food served for breakfast, we also liked the swimming pool area, it was relaxing and the view was fantastic!

The room did not have a ventilation working in the bathroom and no soap in the shower. It was very late so we did not want to bother the staff.

There was nothing I didn’t like, will be nice to be back when the beach and restaurant on the port is open. Was a wonderful trip!

Loved the view more than anything of the sea, super close to airport was a 6 min uber ride. Staff were super helpful and friendly especially on my last day when I had a late flight and what to do with robe once done with the pool etc. I loved the bed so much so comfy and getting to Cavtat port was fast. Recommend asking for lift down and up if not as able to walk stairs are chunky! Can get a water taxi easily to Dubrovnik or the bus from the terminal is less than 10 euros there and back. The piano bar was a wonderful highlight and as a solo traveller loved listening and taking my book one evening. I don’t know why anyone is complaining about the breakfast - they cater for everything and will be something you and kids would like and enjoy. The gym is good, have dumbbells and few cardio machines. A stair master would be a welcome addition I think just as an extra option as cardio area was popular! Other than that.. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and will be back!

Unfortunately the beach wasn’t open yet even though the weather was good. The prices for soft drinks etc at the bar were expensive and given this is a five star hotel, I would have expected water to be freely available which it wasn’t and it cost 4.80euro for a large bottle!

The hotel is massive. It was very good value for money. Staff were attentive, the service was very fast in the restaurant and there were a lot of choices for breakfast and dinner. We thought the food was good and varied. The views were amazing and the hotel was a short walk to the centre of cavtat. There was a beautiful walk from the hotel around the peninsula and many places to stop for a swim.

The food was buffet style and not exactly 5 star, though not bad.

The hotel was very nice and good facilities around and in the spa. Near a lovely resort within easy walking distance, you can also be lucky enough to get the buggy back up the hill, but not very often.

We had a wonderful stay here. The view over the ocean was beautiful and the facilities were brilliant. The indoor pool was a little cold for our liking but still a lovely pool to swim in. The stairs down to the town center are not for the faint hearted. We loved the touch of having chocolates delivered to our room every night too and the breakfast food was of great quality and choice.
