How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Sometime after a few showers, there was no hot water, and we needed to wait.
The location was perfect. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Be aware this hotel is on a busy road and is noisy with traffic day and night. Hotel supplied earplugs but worth bringing your own. It didn’t affect us much and we slept ok and felt well rested
Conveniently located. Very close to metro, tram and bus stops. Plenty of restaurants close buy. Walkable to most tourist attractions. Comfortable, clean property. Studio had everything you need for a short stay

We didnt use the kitchen but it can be better equiped
Clean, great location with airport buses only a couple of hundred meters away. The breakfasts were good and the takeaway breakfasts for early day trips were amazing compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at for this trip. Water refill is provided in the lobby

The noise from the street was annoying but didn't disturb the sleep during the whole night.
This hotel is very nicely situated in the middle of everything you would want to experience in Budapest! Clean and comfortable.

Aprt hotel was in a great location - across the road from the airport bus, near attractions and shops. The use of luggage lockers was really useful and all staff we met were very friendly. Clean apartments with everything you could need for a few days stay in Budapest.

All good, would recommend.
Situated in a central place. Easy walk to river and the centre of Pest. Very nice restaurants serving authentic dishes just around the corner. Ruin bars about 10min walk. Rooms were well appointed with tea coffee facilities, microwave and sink. Luggage storage lockers available.

We are super happy with our choice to stay at Florin apart hotel. Perfect central location, we could walk to most of the attractions. Yes, it is on a busy street, but this didn’t bother us. We were a group of 10 and stayed at two identical deluxe three bedroom apartments. These are located on the top floor, the view is beautiful. The apartments are cleaned every day, they are maisonettes, there is a combined toilet-bathroom on second level and separate toilet and separate bathroom on the first level. The living room and terrace are on the first level, while bedrooms are on the second, which is very convenient for large groups. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Thank you, Florin, for being the base of our great stay at Budapest! We all loved it!

The Location was really good. So close to lots of bars, restaurants and good coffee shops. Really clean. Reception staff were helpful, particularly Kevin who was on the desk when we checked in late in the evening. I was a little worried about traffic noise, as I'm a light sleeper. But with the windows closed I got a good night's sleep. Ear plugs were sometimes used, they were very good. And the shutters on the windows are very good at blocking light out, if required. Comfortable bed, wanted to bring the pillows home!! We walked to almost every area of the city from this hotel, it's very central. Bus stop to airport is a 2 minute walk away. Very easy to use. Would recommend this property.

As our bedrooms were facing out onto the street the noise was quite loud even with the windows closed.
The location was excellent. Tram stop just up the street. Many restaurants and grocery shops just a short walk away. Also walking distance to many of the sights.

The breakfast could be better and the place where breakfast is serving is very small,so sometimes you need to wait for table.
The room was so clean and the staff was wanderfull,and the object is in the very Center of Budapest,so for sure I'll be back again very soon!

The floor was dirty and the toilet as well. Even though we stayed 4 nights, the cleaning service did not clean the apartment even once. Just new towels. Disappointing
