The only negative for me is the room, which was very nice garden room but the set up with an “open” bathroom and shower or bath with no doors did not make it efficient to use as privacy for a shower was not provided. Highly recommend to add a door!

The overall conplex is amazing as it is surrounded by lush gardens and waterponds, it is spectacular and super well kept. Breakfast is amazing and offered in two restaurants so there is no overcrowding. The pool is huge with a waterslide, a major hit for children, teens and adults! It is a mega resort in front of a huge sandy white beach. Highly recommend for families. Staff is nice but mainly there to give directions around the big resort. Not recommended for travellers with mobility issues as it is a long walk from pool/beach to rooms - but a free buggy service is provided. We loved the bike rentals to bike along the long promenade!

Only two issues for us. One is the age of the resort - while everything works just fine, you do get a sense of its age despite renovations in the rooms and elsewhere. The other is that we ran into a few instances where the staff seemed to have no comprehension of what we were saying. This caught us off guard as we had no such issues in Ubud for instance so we really didn’t know why their English was not on par.

The pool is a highlight of this resort, as is its location. You are literally across the street from Bali Collection if you choose to stay at the Grand Hyatt. Then there is the grandeur of the resort, it is unmatched with its countless ponds, rooms, over 600m long private beach, and more. You will be very happy with the resort.

The room that we stayed wasn’t sound insulated to next room and could hear all the sounds and noise coming from the other room especially at night. It would have been a perfect location if Hyatt can improve the room functionally in future to be more sound proof.

The fridge wasn’t as cold as it should be to keep your own drinks in like water, also paying $8 Australia for a bottle of water around the pools bye it out side the resort

The breakfast was nice but the other food wasn’t very exciting! We were glad to be able to go out to eat.

The staff really made our stay - they were so friendly and smiley and very happy to help. Breakfast was fine and the evening canapés in the club lounge were nice. The resort is maybe looking a little old and tired but was located close to the beach (which was lovely and clean) and near to Bali Collection with lots of places to eat.

The only thing we found was staff didn't speak English well and there was so information on the resort or where everything was or any activities on, we had to find out everything ourselves, so a little more information at check in would have been helpful

Great location and a very relaxed feel about the place, pool great for kids, rooms are ok but could do with an upgrade. Food was good but a bit pricey. My only issue is that you can take a walk and eat in the other hotels and the bill includes all taxes and service charges ( approx 20%) Grand Hyatt should show all food bills inclusive of taxes and charges like adjacent hotels. Apart from that pleasant stay, great and friendly staff

Teens club could be upgraded with more games and open longer.

Perfect for an absolutely relaxing family vacation. The sofa/ com bed for the 3rd guest was very cosy. Icecream and food delicious. Great show of Balinese dances.

The property is in a good location and family friendly, lovely staff, our only dislike was they were completing maintenance on the hot water system between 12 and 3pm which took a bit longer this usually wouldn’t bother us but with a 9 month old and a 3 year old would have been good for them to have a warm shower and a clean off from their swim before their sleep,
