WiFi signal could be stronger and more reliable. Sometimes the signal would drop or be difficult to connect to.

Great property, centrally located but still quiet and peaceful. Nice breakfast and the staff are wonderful and friendly and will help wherever possible. Recommend staying here.

Outstanding location, setting, pool and service. Friendly home team; room with terrace, stone carvings and views to garden and pool. Very quiet, impressive all round. Eggs, fruit juice. yoghurt and honey for breakfast. I enjoyed the pool and talking to the home team.

The sink & faucet were old, but worked just fine.

The family that run the place are delightful ! The place has character with its wood carved doors and general architecture. The pool was refreshing. Breakfast was good, not excessive, but tasty. It's quiet and rather tranquil, which is surprising, considering how close it is to the noisy main road. The bed was comfortable & shower fixtures were new.

Booked this place to be in the centre of Ubud and it didn’t disappoint. Despite its position it’s surprisingly quiet. Nice pool. Breakfast was good - can choose omelette/eggs on toast plus fruit or yoghurt. Nice pool. It’s owned and run by an old lady called Okawati who is lovely. She obviously takes a lot of pride in the trees and plants as you are constantly surrounded by greenery. Nice patios outside each villa nice for a beer in the evening. We had two bungalows one of them was a bit tired but both clean and comfortable. Very traditional in style which was nice too. Definitely recommend a stay if you’re looking for a central, relaxed, green and traditional accommodation. Also there’s a fridge where you help yourself to beers and write down your room number which was great and not expensive. Plus fridge in each room.

Fruit in the fruit salad one day had mould in it, The bread was like bland supermarket bread.. I think local style breakfast would be better for travellers..

Calm oasis off the road, family run (thank you Ibu Okawati), decent rooms, delightful clean, small pool. nb it's about 80 metres along the alleyway off Jl Monkey Forest to get there, no car access - not an issue for us, but probably should be made clearer on booking sites, to stop the complainers!

Everything was great. Charming and authentic. Owner and Staff were friendly and attentive, overall vibe was relaxing and comfortable. Great breakfast. Comfy and clean bed. No street access for vehicles. If you struggle with your luggage, it's about a 100m walk from main street.

Old style Balinese guest house with very friendly staff. Central location in Ubud only minutes walk from central temple and art markets. Access down a narrow lane way added to the authentic experience. Room cleaned daily and great value for money.

This was my 5th stay at Okawati Hotel, and I will keep coming back for the wonderful hospitality of the owner and staff. They are genuinely kind and make every guest feel at home. The location is perfect – right in the centre of Ubud but tucked away on a quiet street, so it feels peaceful. All the main attractions and great restaurants are just a short walk away. The pool is fantastic, and the hotel offers a perfect blend of traditional Balinese charm with simple, comfortable accommodations. In a Ubud with modern places, Okawati stands out as a place where you truly feel like you’re in Bali. A great value for the experience! Highly recommended.

One of the best pools I’ve ever encountered; gorgeous old-style rooms with four poster beds sporting net drapes. Also pet rabbits gamboling about the lawn. Altogether divine, and super-close to the centre of Ubud. This was my second visit and there will definitely be more.

Lovely homestay with great balinese features. The garden and swimming pool are amazing and nested in the heart of Ubud but still very quiet. The staff are extremely friendly and the room very confortable. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the little pet rabbits. We loved it so much that we booked 3 extra nights. Thank you for everything, we strongly recommend this place.
