I arrived early for check in and asked if I could get into my room early I was told I would have to pay $90.00 euros more to get in and then quoted two other prices for getting in early. I had read that if my room was ready I would be allowed to get it. Earlier or I found the hotel was too warm. I ended up having to sleep with the balcony door fully open even though the room's heating source was turned off. The bathroom although clean had some recent repair that was of poor workmanship. In the restaurant I was ignored by the server for several minutes even though eye contact had been made. The sign behind the counter said one price for sandwiches and I was charged another when I asked why I was told that it was an old sign and that was not the sandwiches that were that price.

Check in. I pre paid via booking.com, however the check in took 32 minutes from the time I joined the queue in reception until I got my key, despite 3 check in clerks on duty. This was also after waiting 52 minutes for a courtesy bus at Dublin airport. Once I was there is was excellent, however I was totally disenchanted by the arrival experience.

The shower head (I know, this is pretty picky) is a little dated and was surprised to see it. It doesn't have the typical modern capacities to alter spray, nor a spray wand. Seemed odd in this otherwise really nice hotel.

This hotel was the perfect spot for us to stay for our early morning flight from the Dublin Airport. The room was huge, the bed was comfortable. It was a great place to just relax and get ready for our trip home. Front desk and airport shuttle staff were all great to interact with. The bar/restaurant were perfect for our needs.

Great location for Dublin Airport travels. Very well soundproofed so slept like a log. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Jennifer in the bar/restaurant was extremely helpful and attentive. Great service 👏

The room we stayed was w/o air conditioning; I cannot imagine to be in that hotel room with four people during summer with only one fan available. The main restaurant on the top floor is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which to me is an odd choice since this is a transfer hotel and not a leisure one. The breakfast is standard (both continental and british), but several products are packed and not fresh. Alas, if you want a cappuccino you need to pay extra money, which is IMHO ridiculous in 2025

The hotel is super close to the airport and the shuttle frequency is very convenient. For an overnight stay before you catch you flight, the hotel is delivering what you need. The bar-restaurant provides a short, but complete menu that can satisfy many palates; the waiters are quick and kind

The room and fixtures were showing some age. No hair conditioner available for the shower. Breakfast was not included with room.

The Carlton On-Airport Shuttle was punctual and the driver was helpful, especially on our trip back to the Airport. The staff was accommodating for requests for a room change to higher level room after the initial room was located on the ground floor with little to no outside view and sunlight. Also on a late change to take an earlier shuttle to the airport in the morning. The room was very clean and functional. All in all it was comfortable and pleasant stay. The room was very quiet even with the on airport grounds location.

We were not aware of carparking fees for our stay and had to pay, but should have checked before booking. Will keep this in mind for the next visit.

Room very spacious and spotless clean. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Bathroom/ ensuite was really large and well stocked. Rooftop restaurant food was delicious and service was excellent and friendly.

Nothing all good and comfortable stay

The best part was the transport via bus all through the night for free and from the airport to the hotel, made it so much easier for my family if 4 and lots of bags to get to the airport , I’d stay again for this if I travel from Dublin airport again
