Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No water provided in the room. Room was cold Had dinner . Did not enjoy at all. Partner had overcooked chicken and really overdone vegetables. I had chickpea curry . Sauce was nice but no veggies and far too many chickpeas. Boring naan bread. Very disappointing. Waitress was lovely tho.

Room size small and no AC. Had to keep window open and invited insects.
The restaurant and room cleanliness. 20% discount on food and beverages was really nice.

Unfortunately it was noisy during the night and early morning towards the end of our stay. Alittle bit disappointed that there was no drinking water available in our room , we would have preferred water instead of tea and milk.
We really enjoyed the environment, breakfast was excellent and employees showed manners and respect.

Unfortunately after returning from a meal, a security guard stopped us at the gate and was extremely rude to us, he did not believe that we were staying at the hotel but instead thought we were trying to gain access to the nightclub that’s located on the premises, we showed him both our key cards and confirmation emails to confirm we were staying the night but still got mistreated and spoken down to.

Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were good! But for the cost of my stay I would have expected a little better. Staff were friendly but seemed under pressure in the restaurant and forgot to put my starter on or group dinner table. Male toilet was very far away from the main bar and restaurant Water in the rooms would have been a nice touch considering the price.

Nice hotel with excellent friendly and attentive staff, and plenty of parking space. Extremely well located outside the city for anyone needing access to the University Campus or business parks. Also very well located for a direct car drive to/from Dublin. Food served 0700-1000, and 1200-2200. Good hearty Irish menu.

Bar had 2 staff and took a while before they served. Rooms are poorly decorated and not aesthetically appealing. They feel bare and uncomfortable.. bed makes up for that though

No complimentary water in the room, and the water pressure in the shower is just a tad too strong, the jet becomes uncomfortable on the skin after a few seconds. Also, the water wasn't particularly hot, more like lukewarm.
Have stayed at the Kilmurry Lodge before. Property chosen because of location and price, which usually includes buffet breakfast (quite nice, actually, comes with streaky bacon, which is a plus.) Did not have any dinner so can't comment on that. The room itself was fine, with the facilities expected at that price range. Double bed, kettle, hairdryer, etc. There's a Lidl right next door and a large service station right across the road.

Would have preferred a walk in shower rather than a bath with a shower attachment.
Perfect location. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Comfortable beds.
