Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We have to move the bed and found it not very clean behind it. Other than that, it was good.

Stayed here 5 weeks agp for same price. Room had lovely view of the river, bottles of water and cookies. This time had a view of the car park, no water and no cookies 😞

If the car park is full you have to use parking station nearby that is 25 Euros per 24 hours. Very noisy during our stay with people slamming doors and loud voices heard through the walls.

The shower pressure was out of the roof and felt like getting sprayed. But that was the only downside.
Really nice rooms, comfortable beds. Nice that it had a kettle. The location was quite good, Cork being a smaller city. Walking distance from most attractions.

As above room was a bit noisy with traffic noise.
Hotel location was very good, however our room was a bit noisy due to the fact hotel was near a very busy street. Our room was comfortable and clean and we had plenty of space.

The proximity to the homeless shelter was surprising but ultimately there were no issues due to the location.
The staff was very welcoming. We appreciated the fresh lemon water in the lobby when we arrived. The continental breakfast provided a good variety of food and drinks and was reasonably priced. We also appreciated the onsite parking.

Not value for money. No wardrobe, no mini refrigerator in the room etc , which were there in other Leonardo hotel that we have stayed , inspite of this one being more expensive. Also, we had very disturbing guests staying around our room during our stay. Their loud conversations and laughter at night in the corridor and just outside our room didn't allow us to sleep properly. It was extremely distressing.

Breakfast could have been better. On a Saturday the breakfast was supposed to be until 11am, but some of the things were finished and not replenished.

No A/C. Rooms outdated and in need of renovation. Teas that were used, were not replenished during service for the following days use sadly. A few minor complaints about the breakfast: oatmeal was ice cold, fresh baked rolls/bread were gone by 9 am(day before at 7:15 we had no problem getting them), same with alternative milks. Almond and coconut milk empty at 8:45 am (breakfast went until 11 am) . When I asked if I could have some, the staff brought me the entire carton to my table instead of refilling pot for others to use.
Location was great! No A/C, but nice that they provided a fan in the room. Good powered hair dryer. Bar and restaurant were a plus. Great draft beers and food was excellent in evening.

The restaurant for lunch and dinner was very uneven in quality, speed, and presentation
The rooms were a nice size with good amenities. Included breakfast was varied and good quality. The coffee was especially good. Staff was friendly and efficient. The location is excellent really close to transportation and attractions.

The bar staff were a bit lost with what to do with orders Kept getting it wrong First night dinner was a disaster, got better the other days. Just be patient and empathetic with younger new staff.

It would have been nice to have a walk-in shower instead of the bath in the bathroom.
The location was really good, in the center and if you need the bus, the bus station is really near the hotel. Hotel is neat and the staff friendly and helpful. The double bed was comfortable and the view from the room to the river was nice. I got even more fresh vegetables served for my breakfast when we asked them. I can recommend Leonardo Hotel.
