Beautiful, old structure with furnishings and art from around the world. The owner greeted us when we arrived. We were upgraded to a better room- it was beautiful! The Burren Suite. Large room, sitting area, comfortable canopy bed, large bathroom. Excellent breakfast with many options.

The parking situation was a bit crowded, and its gravel lots and not every car was parked in an organized manner so we had to create a spot off on the grass

The location was perfect for our road trip. The drive in was lovely and they’ve organized the property so well to give residential areas as well as communal areas

My husband felt like the interior was too red and Dracula vibes, but the rest of us loved it so I think that's a him problem. 😆

This characterful property was full of quirks and personality. We really loved having access to common spaces (where we played some boardgames) and the owners kindly let some of our party stay late while the rest of us went horseback riding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy for breakfast, and my family members said the full Irish was amazing.

Such a unique property! Super cozy and inviting- beds comfortable + hosts super kind and friendly! We left our hotel in Galway to stay here for the night and it was definitely worth it! Sitting by the fire in the evening was magic :)

The grounds were fascinating. From the basement spring, to the well-stocked library and kitchen, our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer. Love the hosts as well, they made us feel like family.

The property is located in a lovely area. The room was furnished with character and care, and so the rest of the house (which is available for the guests to enjoy). The owners are delightful. Breakfast was great. Only stayed for one night, wished I had planned a longer stay.

We liked that this is near the things you need, but feels like it is in the middle of nowhere. That said - we recommend arriving during daylight hours to get your bearings as the roads are narrow!

Gorgeous property and so unique. I loved the Burren Suite, the canopy bed was such a treat and I appreciated all the space for our family. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. We loved getting to know our hosts and socializing with other guests in the common areas, breakfast was an absolute treat. We had a great time hanging out by the fire on a rainy night, the coffee/tea and self-service bar is an awesome touch, and it’s a very comfortable space to chill out in.

It was a bit cold on a rainy night, but if anything, that added to the charm.

This is one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed. The house looks like something out of a movie about the Irish countryside both inside and out. Breakfast was great. There’s a self-service bar in a cozy common area with a fireplace.

Sometimes we find the colour in the rooms a little dark but they are cosy and we always enjoy the stay.

WE have stayed at the Waters many times and love the relaxing atmosphere and the location. The welcome is warm and the breakfast is wonderful. The owners are lovely.
