Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe floors on the rooms need a good clean, otherwise everything else was great.
Very friendly host and great location. Only a short walk to the beach, nice cafe on the corner opposite and a supermarket on the other side of the street. Buses to the airport are within 5 minutes walk and transportation very easily organised through the host if required.

United StatesThe A/C in the main areas / lobby could be better, but this was not a huge issue at all.
The location can't be beat! Also, the staff/main contact was very friendly. The room was clean with a great view, too. Probably the best bang for your buck in the area.

AustriaA very pleasant apartment just 5 minutes from the beach. Grateful for the upgrade we got just like that, which allowed us to have breakfast and a night cap at the balcony.

United KingdomThere were considerable road works going on - for a tram line I believe. There was no noise during my stay but it could get worse in the future.
I had a top floor suite with a generous balcony. The location was great with close proximity to two of the best beach areas.

AustraliaWe arrived by hire car and discovered that half the access road was being rebuilt which was somewhat problematic for access. It is of course not the managements fault but advanced warning of issues would have been helpful. Otherwise no issues with property or service.
Nice bed, useful kitchenette with a Nespresso machine and pods, roomy bathroom, huge private terrace with views over Tel Aviv roofs. Walking distance to beaches and restaurants. The caretaker was most helpful and friendly.

IsraelAs for me it’s a bit overpriced as this is the price of a boutique hotel in the city center. But I can understand that the price is driven by the demand: if you like to stay in the apartment, you’ll enjoy this option more than a standard hotel room. I need to say the property looks bigger on the photos. Also, from the photos it seems that it’s located in a new or a renovated building and that’s not true. This property is located on the last floor of an old typical Israeli house. But the good thing is that you don’t need to enter the house itself, it has a separate clean and nice entrance with an elevator that goes exactly to the last floor. Despite that Ben Yehuda street (where the property is located) is one of the main streets of Tel Aviv you need to take into consideration that it is closed because of the new train line building. Also, finding a parking in this area is a real challenge.
The property is located right in the city center: 5 mins walk to the main streets, bars, restaurants, beach, whatever! The property is clean and nice, it has everything you may need and it’s very well maintained. But the best thing about this property is its huge terrace with a fantastic view of Tel Aviv skyline. The host is professional and friendly, the room is cleaned every day, so, it feels like to stay in a hotel and not in an apartment. Btw, there’s a separate entrance, a separate elevator and even an office. So, yeah, it’s like a hotel.

CanadaThe noise isolation between the rooms is not great, and you can hear other people in the neighboring rooms. There was some construction going on the front road so there was a lot of dust outside, and it was hard for the taxis to get there.
The staff was very nice and polite. The room was spacious and the balcony was huge. There were all the basic utensils for the kitchen, and the bed was really comfortable. The free wifi worked well too. The suites are located two blocks from the beach.

AustraliaWe were travelling with lot of luggage and the lift was not accessible from ground floor; we had to carry it up and down the stairs. Lighting within the rooms could be much better. Floor wasn't that clean.
We just stayed for 2 nights and I reckon it was good value for money. With close proximity to the beach, we could easily walk down. The place itself did not provided for breakfast but had coupon for restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed the scrumptious breakfast at Bread & Co. Shalom who manages the place was very helpful and even provided a USB charger as our iphone/ipad chargers did not fit the power sockets.

United StatesThe apartment was tiny, there was no place to put our luggage. We ended up putting it on the floor next to the bed and climbing over it everytime we waked by. The worst part of the stay was that the flat is on the street that's undergoing major contruction. The whole street is dug up and piping works are taking place. The street is blocked to all traffic so we had to drag our suitcases to and from taxi for about a block. There is also plenty of noise and dust from construcrion vehicles. One evening, as I was taking a shower, ALL water (hot and cold) was suddenly disconnected. I couldn't even wash off soap and shampoo. The owner could only be contacted when you call direct (no WhatsApp or Booking messenger). He stated that the pipe burst outside and the workers are trying to fix it. It was a night from hell - still covered in (now dried-up shampoo and soap) i laid under blanket shivering in cold until 3 AM when water was finally turned on. No doubt, the pipe burst due to notorious construction outside. Had we at least been provided some bottled water, the situation could have been more comfortable.
We booked thr minute we saw a huge private terrace, and that was our favourite feature! The flat was clean and had everything one needed. Large bathroom.
