Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndiaCleanliness level are not good enough. Mold on shower heads and other bathroom fittings was not a good sight.
The location is excellent. The courtesy and supportive staff were great. The breakfast spread was good too.

United Arab EmiratesThe lady at the reception named ‘Sweety’ was terrible. She needs to be either in the restaurant or some other department as I felt her skill set wasnt for front desk. I dnt have anything personal against her she seems to have a lovely smile but just not meant for reception duties for a five star hotel. She screwed up my checkin and checkout with simple instructions. I booked my stay last minute from Dubai and dnt want my parents to be charged. I called up reception not sure which lady picked up and told me to send me card details along with my PIN number to some random email for payment. The email address wasn’t a lemon tree address. I dnt feel safe doing that. The next day I spoke to the general manager who seemed really smart and nice about paying in advance. Guess what? — he told me due to govt bank regulations I am not allowed to give them my card details for a payment I have to use my card myself which made me feel the lady at the reception who I spoke to was shady. When I reached the hotel sweety was there and I asked her to give me a receipt for my checkin after I pay the full amount for three rooms she dnt give me any receipt. I instructed her to pls remember at my checkout not to charge me again. Again at checkout Sweety forgot who I was and asked me to pay some amount not stating what it was for and couldn’t remember if I paid at check in and had to call a colleague to check the system. I dnt feel sweety had a skill set for the reception ecsp not for guests payments. Pls keep someone more suitable for this post as the reception is the first impression for any clients who enter hotel. Pls note: I dnt usually complaint but I felt this was important and if I dnt address it sweety will keep repeating the same mistake — Laziness and not paying attention to simple details.
I loved the spacious room, the food and the staff in the restaurant. I really appreciated the general manager and even the cleaning boy who came to clean the room. He was very sweet and honest and it was so touching to see the hotel hire deaf and dum cleaning staff. Over all for the affordable prices and location my time in lemon tree for great.

IndiaRoom service and housekeeping requests take a really long time. A la carte orders at the Citrus were only so-so...and took very long to come.
The property is beautiful...rooms are large and so is the bathroom. Even without asking, we were given an upgrade to the top floor with a great view of the lake. Staff are courteous! We very very happy. Plan to go again

United StatesPillows were hard as rocks. All the male staff asked me to give them trip advisor reviews CONSTANTLY. I don't have an account and I felt so rude but staff should not be asking hotel guests to review them at every moment. All the front desk staff and female staff were very nice and helpful! Location is great.
