They do not offer complementary Tea or snacks. for such a remote a place, its tough to find something. Dinner is also very expensive as not everyone would require the full spread and an elaborate dinner. either alternate dinner options or ala carte would help guests as there are not many restaurants that are nearby or reachable.

The location and service of the staff was good. The food was decent. The activity area has some basic rules, but its good to be shared prior or along with the booking so that guests can carry correct attire for that.

Timing of high tea-snacks was too late, Barbeque immediately after that was early and dinner was too close to barbeque. Breakfast timing was too late in the morning.. Slightly more time gap between the refreshments / meals and an early Breakfast would be great..

The initial communication with the staff was confusing and frustrating since especially we ended up getting lost on our way. With my two senior parents it was really difficult and time consuming. But this experience was made up for with good service that followed

Assuming this a new venture, the lack of experience in running a hospitality business seems evident. They still seem to be figuring out a host of things, from food to services, to basic protocols & even some aspects of the facility. Hope they streamline the functioning of the resort over a period of time.

The location & the overall setup of this property is really the highlight for me. Well spread out, great views & open spaces - great for a pet-friendly resort. Good for large groups of families or corporate outings.

A lovely retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city - the location is nice, room is good and the fact that you can take your pets is awesome. The staff and food are wonderful too!

Little more activity can be added for small Kids. Pets are allowed everywhere and few pet owners are not taking care the pet properly, kids are getting bit scared.

The swimming pool was dirty and uninviting, we had gone in peak summers and seeing a dirty pool was disappointing. we were looking forward to dipping in water.

the property is located beautifully within a mango orchard, flanking by mountains on the other side. It was very clean and well maintained. The food was really nice, pets were welcomed. Villas were clean and minimalistic but very comfortable.

VAMA Retreats is a refreshing change from city life, situated in a location overlooking the triple mountains of Bengaluru, Nandi hills, Skandagiri & Chennagiri. Loaded with activities... cycling, nature walk, customized hill trek, air riffle shooting and more. The 21-obstacle army course was an absolute different experience followed by a synchronized show by Bruno and company. It was pleasure meeting Colonel Pande a perfect Gentleman-Ex officer and Mr.Kush Shah (Owner) over an evening discussion around the theme, concept and much more. Very beautiful proerty. I was travelling alone but felt very safe and welcome. The owners were very helpful. They have a beautiful pool. The meal package includes wonderful food and a very good barbecue.

It could be better to start room service in Villus particularly old age people and some dining Halls near Villa.

Breakfast is very good and other foods are also cooked like homely food. Only problem is no room service is a problem and Villas are far away from the Dining Hall. Request for arrangement.

The reception can be made more appealing. Doesn't give a good first impression. On arrival the lunch served was cold and not upto our expectations. However, the management responded to our complaint and ensured that further meals provided were served hot and was also tasty. However, suggest that there can be more variety for the price we are paying.

The location was very scenic. The staff were courteous and helpful. The food though not a large spread was tasty and well prepared. Activities like rifle shooting, obstacle course, indoor games were good.
