Had an overnight stay since this was a 3 minute drive from the tour meeting place. The room was great and comfortable. Hotel has a great breakfast. Really enjoyed staying here.

Restaurant had a fancy, expensive, limited menu but looked like a school camp hall. I desperately needed to wash clothes but was advised to drive an hour away to use a campground.

The breakfast is not the best I have evert had but definitely sufficient! You have standard bread, yogurt and beans and etc. The room is big enough, the bathroom is nice. We chose this hotel because we booked the glacier walking and the hotel is only 3 mins drive from the meet-up point.

Hardly space to leave two suitcases, and price quite high for what you get compared to other places, but perhaps that's because of the remote area.

Dining room - too small and not comfy. The staff was not so friendly as we expected.

We stayed at this hotel 1 night and it was the worst experience in Iceland comparing to the rest places where we stayed. The workers at the reception were not so friendly as in the rest hotels. The room for four people is not big enough. The bathroom is too small. The doors of the shower were difficult to open. It was warm enough in the room. We didn’t like a lot the dining room as well. It was not comfy. The hotel is lack of soul and domestic warmth what you could feel in other places of Iceland. The location is nice. It’s close to the glacier lagoon as well as Skogafoss waterfall. To stay for a night is a nice option.

Solid hotel with decent breakfast, small but comfortable rooms and easy access to the south coast. Dinner was (expectedly) expensive but delicious. Staff is very friendly. Rooms were small but clean and inviting. Showers were hot. Breakfast was simple but good. All in all, we would recommend this place!

The dinner is a bit pricy but that is normal in Iceland to be honest. And if you have loud neighbours you will hear them. Also there is no ventilation in the bathroom. And the room has only one window.

The location is only 30min away from the lagoon of Jokuslaron. So if this is where you want to go it is the perfect location. Also because there is few cities and other light sources around you have good chance to see the northern lights. Everything is clean, the stuff is super friendly and the food, including the breakfest, is very good.

Too expensive for what you get. And I really wish they had a guest kitchen. Dining options are limited in the middle of know where. You’re kind of forced to eat at their restaurant. And the beds were very hard.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel - was comfortable, clean and in a great location. We had a glacier hike booked the next day so was a quick 3 minute drive to the meeting point. The staff were also really helpful and friendly. And to top it off we got to see the Aurora for the second time .

The location of this hotel is excellent as it allows for hiking on the glacier, visit to Diamond Beach and Black Beach at Vik - it made a perfect base for our holiday. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was really lovely - particularly the Icelandic Skyr! We weren't able to get to the hotel before the restaurant closed but we were able to phone in our order and it was ready for a take away which we ate in our room. Shout out to Diego who couldn't have been more helpful - it is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel

It's convenient to both Jokulsarlon and Skaftafell - around 30mins in each direction. Basic, but warm and cosy room. Breakfast was simple yet good. Good pre-check in message to inform/remind that it's in a remote location so we need to book seats in the restaurant or have dinner plans ready.

The shared lounge area was quite sparse and jammed into the small lobby, and the dining room felt very functional and basic despite having restaurant-quality food and service.
