Since we were there for 5 days, some sort of housekeeping would have been better, as it gets messy. The team were helpful to get a dust pan when asked.

Water went over the shower overflow and we had to use the bath mat as a stopper. It would help to have a wider glass panel or taller raised bit. We never got access to the key box that had the keys to the backdoor so we just had to walk around to the front every time. Wasn't really a problem but would've been nice to have it.

Easy to check-in and access. Property guide has all the information. Do not forget to add preferred check-in time (we didn't and we had to wait for them to update our door lock remotely - only took 5 mins but still)! The location is superb. Vicinity to the shops, cafes, restaurants, and Reykjavík itself is amazing! Sky Lagoon is only 5 mins drive! Reykjavík 10-15 mins drive! Plenty of free parking - in front of and behind the property! Facility wise, everything you need for a short-medium stay is available. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare quick meals for yourself. Fridge & freezer for your snacks or groceries. Shops across the road and right beside it too. Restaurants & bars just a walk away as well as couple doors down. Cafes for morning coffees and pastries - Te & Kaffi across the road, maybe 2 mins walk and Braud & Co 8 mins walk. Have plenty of choice if you wish to eat out but not spend ridiculous amounts of money in Reykjavík restaurants. Washing machines and dryers if you need to do laundry. Beds are comfortable. Rooms were at a very comfortable temperature despite a drafty window. Extra electric heater provided. Blackout curtains were a great help. So were frosted windows and the double curtain set up (considering our room was on the ground floor, we didn't feel exposed despite having a glass window wall). The room and bathroom were spacious! Added bonus - pretty sunset views can be seen from the back of the accommodation, easily accessed by the stairs that connect the back road beside Subway.

Although can be considered a budget friendly accommodation, everything was as expected and had a good few days. The self check-in instructions were really easy and convenient (door codes). Although we haven't had any problems we really appreciated the hosts proactiveness and availability to assist us in need. A notable plus would be the supermarket across the road (Kronan) and the location is also great as a base for car trips either to Reykjavik or the south. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a good value accommodation near Reykjavik.

We had booked a room with this establisment a few months back and where expecting it to be the same place but is wasn't so that was a little disappointing. The room was smaller then expected but still big enough for us. Biggest issue was that the curtains for the almost floor to ceiling Windows didn't fit, they couldn't cover the full window no matter how we arranged them so the super early sunrise always woke us up.

The self check in was easy and super nice, and people where super helpfull trough the phone when we needed anything. Apartment was really clean and the shower lovely.

Our four days stay no one came to clean the room. I didn’t found any staff to ask for anything. Kitchen was helpful but was not all stuff to cook anything. There weren’t any cutlery and spatula. There was some stuff to cook but not complete stuff to cook. We could make tea nothing else. So kitchen was not helpful.

Beware business travellers. Hotel is not able to provide an invoice for the stay and saying they have not received money from booking.com so far even they have to see money was charged by the booking. They just told me I have to wait couple of weeks. Sorry to say that but this is really unusual behaviour. Room needs some maintenance.

Location access was easy. Affordable appartment in expensive Iceland.

Clean and affordable, easy to contact, but issues getting extra towels and in and out of the doors- although the doors thing was sorted and the nice cleaner gave us towels- the storage room where they were supposed to be was empty and stank . I'd recommend, apart from that. Great to have the laundry facilities, very clean, opposite a supermarket.

The kitchen area in our room does not have an exhaust fan. The smell of the food went all over the room while cooking.

It is not clean enough. There were ants around in the cardboard. And the dishes are old and not clean. We understand that the occupiers would clean the dishes before check out like us but staff needs to check and wash again for next occupiers, isn’t it? No sofa, No oven and no dish washer which is inconvenient though.

The room wasn't properly cleaned, and there were no footwear provided as well, to walk on the dirty floor.

It was close to Reykjavik, with parkings at the front and at the back. There are local amenities available next door. It's calm and not too crowded.

The check in time was at 3pm but we arrived the door was already unlocked and the room was messy. We contacted the host aboout it. And then someone arrived to clean it and we had to wait for an hour in the waiting area untill someone cleaned it. And didn't inform us it was ready, we just had to keep checking.

For 9, little claning touch in bathroom corners, and guest welcoming ideas (tea, coffee, little sweats). No 10 because it is not wolkable to city centre.

Everything was very good. Easy check in, free parking behind the building. 2supermarkets across the streat, Subway sandwiches 20m. Comfort beds and pillows. Usable kitchen. Modern bathroom. Recomended for group of friends or family with rental car.

Needed a bit more attention to laundry machines as all seemed to be non-working leaving us with wet clothes to fly out with. Luckily we packed light so extra weight didn’t matter.

The property location is great opposite to shops for long stays.

The windows are very drafty, and the temperature control is quite difficult to regulate. There's no extractor in the kitchen, so we were quite worried with setting off the fire alarms when cooking bacon.

The location is incredible, it's right across from a shop, next to a subway, and you have loads of stuff within walking distance. It's also got a stunning view of the mountains behind it.
