We were walking the via Francigena and arrived in the rain. We were graciously offered a cup of tea, but to our suprised we were asked to pay for it at checkout.

It needs some more maintenance in the rooms.

The location was nice and calm with a nice pool. The staff was friendly. The restaurant had a small menu of very good quality dishes.

My room (#10) had a low ceiling, I bumped my head not once and impossible to take a shower standing.

Place is beautiful and Laura is a great host. The restaurant is also recommended.

The restaurant was closed for dinner the Sunday night that we stayed.

Wonderful oasis off of the Via Francigena. The B&B staff were helpful and kind. Room was spacious and comfortable. Delicious food at the snack bar and breakfast. We would have loved to stay longer.

The public way to the area is very bad. You should not go with a sportscar there.

Stunning house with multiple rooms in a gorgeous Tuscan setting. Tranquil and serene. Gracious and accommodating hosts. Highly recommended and just 30 minutes outside of busy, bustling Rome.

Gabrielle, the owner of this place, makes it feel like being at home when you are on trip. He is very friendly to every and each guest. Nice rooms, clean and equipped with all necessary furniture. The food and wine is exceptionally good. The territory landscape is made with taste and care. There is a beautiful swimming pool. All staff that works in the Antica Pietrara is very friendly. Laura was my angel there. She was so supportive and helpful with all travel related requests. I will be back to Antica Pietrara for my next visits for sure.I strongly reccomend this nice place.

Google maps takes you to the location on a very bad road, there is a better one but we only discovered it after we got there.

Beautifully presented property. Peaceful. Wonderful restaurant. Exceptional staff, attentive and kind. Good location for Rome. Excellent internet. I was there to recover from surgery and the staff were very sweet. I seldom give a 10: this was a 10.

The rooms are dated and unfortunately due to the location there was a lot of mosquitos. The breakfast was also limited and service for the coffee was slow but this was due to only being 1 lady serving the breakfast.

The owner was incredibly attentive and was friendly and helpful. The lunch at the restaurant was very good and the pool is nice to spend the day. We had a small baby & the owner made sure we had two sun loungers under the shade. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Only criticism is that the internet is slow but when you are there to relax…. Oh and be warned there is no evening meal on Sundays

While this is a beautiful property, this place isn’t necessarily set up for tourists, which is both good and bad I guess. Note if staying here make sure you have a rental car. Our rental car got canceled last minute so we had to take a cab and found ourselves basically stranded once we arrived. We arrived on a Sunday only to find out their restaurant is closed on Sunday’s. Since cabs are non existent in the area of the BnB we had to walk 3 miles to go get water and food and after traveling all day. This is definitely a local hot spot and the two days we were there parties were happening each day which left us feeling a bit awkward as we were the only out of towners as well as the only people who didn’t speak Italian.
