Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaInteresting arrangement of the little cabins, though, tough luck if you had a snoring neighbour (like we happened to have) as the walls were very thin. This wasn’t a huge issues as we were exhausted from visiting the whole day, but someone that’s a light sleeper might want to keep in mind to bring some earplugs just in case. :)
The staff very friendly and helpful. Very quiet and safe, and overall pleasant. As we were on a tight budget and the prices in central Rome were astronomical, this was the best choice, although a little out of the way. The good thing was having a bus stop right in front of the property with a bus that that’s you right in the centre for pennies cheap.

HungaryThis was our first time staying in a camping town like this, and we really enjoyed it. It's not far from the city center, yet you’re surrounded by nature. All the cabins are clean and comfortable. Staying here gives you a resort-like feeling, but in a more down-to-earth, relaxed way. Overall, we had a great experience.

GermanyThe beds are too weakly constructed and may not be suitable for heavyweight people. At nights, it was a bit cold even if it was May. Maybe, this is because of thin walls.
The bus stop and supermarket are very close to reach. There was no problem with cleanliness, which is the most important aspect for me. I would surely recommend this place.

NetherlandsOne of the beds could not handle much weight (only children, not teenagers or adult) without the wooden planks falling out and the bed caving in.
Super friendly staff. Everything as advertised. When I had a problem, it was fixed fast. Free toilet paper. Generous people, tasty food at the restaurant.

United KingdomWe had a superior chalet and they are joined with another The noise was terrible in the evenings and through the night you can literally hear people having a conversation They was very tiny You was given one change of bed clothes and towels and you had to make it yourself. No cleaning done throughout the week we stayed Not a lot of privacy as you have a small wooden table outside next to the one you are sharing with The units are all clamped together in rows not at all like the pictures. You are given 3 pillows for the unit that sleep 3 they where so flat we had to stack towels underneath them We asked for another and was told no only 3 allowed that's one per person The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. If three people occupy, there's no room for cases or clothes storage its so cramped
The pool was lovely. You could even take your own drinks and food around the pool area. The location was good The shuttle bus was 15-30mins onto town, where you can get the metro bus was 5 euros The breakfast was plenty, only thing they didn't have a Toaster other than that great variety

SwedenThe camp is not really in town/city, sometimes it took us 1h to get to the city center. The shuttle bus did not run very often and it costs 5 euros. One metro/bus ticket is 1.5 euros. Getting to the city was hard cause the buses were not running on time and were full of tourists. I would suggest that the camp offers more free buses/connections. Uber sometimes did not come as well and it is quite expensive in Rome to take a taxi or uber, there is a lot of traffic. The main goal is to get to the nearest metro stop. Metro runs ok. Hair dryer did not work in our room.
Very nice camp with a big pool and 2 Jacuzzi, nice restaurants and bars. Very good atmosphere. Little cottages are cute and have everything you need. There is also a store and supermarket nearby. We had coffee every day at the pool bar. Beds were big and comfortable. There is also a little fridge in the room.

New ZealandPretty hard to get into with 4 steep steps. Staff weren't very responsive. The front of Hu Camping was a shambles with cars and taxis and camper vans. We booked there because the one in Florence was so good, but we were disappointed by the Rome one.
Comfortable and nice shower.

SlovakiaEven though we chose Deluxe accommodation, there was noise and smell of garbage. And there are a lot of cats throughout the camp.
We liked this place. We came later in the evening but the reception was at the disposal. We spent here only 1 night but it was really good price-quality ratio.

CanadaThe prices for the various services offered (mini-mart, laundry, shuttle...) were rather expensive (ex. 8€ for washing and drying a load), so we looked elsewhere. We did buy a bottle opener there, but the corkscrew broke off into the cork at first use. The site's main advantage, location, which permits it to be so green and uncramped, is also a bit of a disadvantage: it is far from the historic centre - about 1 hour by public transit to the Colosseum. As mentioned, however, there are buses which come often enough and which connect to the metro system. There is also a shuttle to the Vatican offered, costing 5€ a trip. The site is located between Fiumicino Airport and the Vatican, so that's an advantage for those arriving by plane. It was a pain to haul our luggage up to our lodging (most everything is on the top of a hill, and that path paving is not at all smooth), but we didn't think to ask for it to be brought up in one of their golf carts. It's possible that the service would have been available, maybe with an accompanying fee.
The site was lovely, with a lot of greenery and some flowers, a pool (though it was still too chilly for our tastes), and an overall layout that was quite tasteful and enjoyable. There is a handy supermarket across the street and a city bus stop, with frequent service, right near the entrance. While we were there in probably the ideal season (not too cold, nor too crowded), it almost made us regret that we were there to visit Rome and not to simply have a quiet vacation on-site.

SpainThe guy in the reception is not friendly but the security and other reception ladies are very helpful. Our cabin is a bit far from the reception and we have some stuff to carry on going to the place and they didnt even offer to bring us there. It could help if they also put some kettle and mugs in the cabins and telephones for easy access to the reception.
I love the ambiance of the place, very relaxing, perfect for weekend getaway very quiet at night, neighbors are friendly and respectful.
