It is very old and not so clean in the rooms. There is not enough space in the common areas if the hotel fully booked. They ask you to check out in 10:30

Not the fault of the property- we did not have a car. We were able to get a bus from Siena on the way there but did not realise that the buses do not run on a Sunday- taxi was €100 for a 30min journey Also dinner felt very overpriced- vegetarian option for one course was some leek and puree

The castle itselt is absolutely stunning, the rooms are delicately put together and are the oerfect mix of rustic and functional. The wifi worked great everywhere, the restaurant onsite was splendid. Every single member of staff was incredibly thoughtful and forthcoming. Breakfast buffet was varied.

Not the fault of the facility but we had been climbing steps all day until our arrival at the castle which we are then subject to more steps not an easy place to get around.

Upon arrival was stunned by a image of the Tower the beauty of the landscape and the accommodations.

We loved our stay there. We had an amazing wine tasting session. We had chance to spend time outside although it was cold a little. Rooms are really old but we enjoyed staying there as it was only one night. Food was amazing. Breakfast had many options. Kids..played in fhe garden and loved the fact that they could go up to the tower or see a dungeon.

The only downside is probably the restaurant, not that it is not great. The food was delicious just very limited options and not really filling portions for the price you pay disappointing. Tuscan recipes kind of fine dining, experimental portions which wasnt filling enough for the boys:)

Supernice Castillo, great pool, the lounge area outdoors was nice. a quick climb of some stairs to the roof of the tower took us to a beautiful sunset, is a must during your stay we were adviced by the staff! Very unique interirors and all castle is accessible to visitors. Very friendly staff is always the best! Also you get to open a bottle of wine from the castillos own production and enjoy it theoughout your stay.

This property is a hidden gem in the Tuscan countryside. The rooms are rustic but lovely and the location is close to stunning towns and villages like Siena, Castellina, Radda, Panzano, Grieve, Volpaia and Castagnoli. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and we had dinner one night in the restaurant which was delicious. All in all a great place to stay to explore the region.

The location is fantastic, the view from all around the Castle is gorgeous. It never gets too crowded, extremely relaxing. Staff is very kind and available.
