Parking is a huge problem: don't come with a car! Pool is nice, covered, but you need reservations. As a tourist, it's hard to estimate when you are back in the hotel. Not convenient. May be better to have it open certain hours and limit number of people...

Location is definitely the best. This hotel in former Vila-Palace, so many elements remain. Fully renovated. Specious rooms, most have kitchenette. Very comfortable beds and good towels. Pretty dissent breakfast. Staff is very helpful. Overall, very good stay. Probably will stay here again.

The fan in the room made weird noises and didn’t work and the hall has stairs that come directly From the front without walking past staff so it made me a little nervous . The shales are made of stone and are quite loud but I mean it’s an old building obviously to be expected . Overall these issues weren’t that bad and I I would stay again

We stayed for 4 days. The location is perfect, very central, all the sights are within 5 minutes, there are a lot of cafes and restaurants around. The reception is open 24 hours, the staff is polite and helpful, there were no surprises with the accommodation. The room was wonderful, spacious, clean, with a small kitchenette and decorated with fantasy. Breakfast was not very varied, but there were several hot dishes, cold snacks and fruits, coffee and juices.

Such a wonderful hotel. Staff is nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Location was perfect. Close to everything but not in the middle of the chaos (we went in peak season). Great value for our trip.

The location is excellent. Only 20 min walk from train staciion. Right in the middle of Florence. 2 min from the hotel you have a choice of bars and restaurants. Little convenience shop only 5 min walk for snacks ,wine and beer. All must see places in Florence no more than 10 min walk from hotel. The hotel is spotless, with a really good breakfast. Super comfortable beds and slightly quirky decor where old meets new. Pool and sauna are a really nice way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel is exactly like in pictures. Staff are really friendly and helpful. When in Florence ,we will definitely stay there again.

Loved the sensitive renovation. Brilliant location between Uffizi & Duomo. They tried hard to provide a continental breakfast that would satisfy clients from numerous countries, but this was at the expense of an Italian experience. The transfer recommendation was great.

Lovely place. But… children are not allowed in the pool. This was one of the reasons we’d chosen this hotel. Buried away in the small-print it apparently tells us this - but I can’t find it. Needs to be made much clearer please.

Great stay here in Florence, the location was close to all the attractions, restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable albeit very dark. There were a few bulbs out in the room which probably didn't help. The rooms were nicely decorated and we had clean towels every day. The breakfasts were great, ample choice and very tasty. The staff were very helpful and friendly etc
