Breakfast was very simple and as a vegetarian I didn't have many options. Not that anyone had many. Bed was pretty hard and I could hear my neighbours, but I still slept well.

This is an ideal spot in Siena, and you truly can't beat the location – just a two-minute walk from the magnificent Duomo di Siena. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city. While the hotel might have seen its best days, it still retains a certain faded elegance. What truly shines, however, is the staff, who were consistently 100% professional and attentive.

Excellent location my room had a stunning view of the Duomo and Bell Tower. You can hear the bells ringing very close by. I totally enjoyed staying here relaxing and comfortable.

Amazing views from the rooms we had. They gave very good directions to get to the hotel, which was very helpful. They parked our car for us and brought it in the morning within 30 minutes. That made arriving by car very easy. I would book there again. The location was fabulous. There are a fair number of stairs that are unavailable, like going to breakfast and getting to rooms. The lift is available but only gets you so far before you have to take luggage up a flight of stairs. Not a problem for us but maybe would be for some. Breakfast and coffee was very good!

We noticed a bit of noise in the morning. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

The hotel service is helpful and efficient. Our room was very spacious with a beautiful view of Siena Cathedral. Clean bathroom with all the necessary appliances. Close to all the city's tourist attractions.

We liked the old charm of the hotel, so do not expect all the modern things found in some hotels in Italian cities. The old charm is what makes it. Enjoy it for what it is - an amazing city with old world charm.

Location is awesome nearby to the Duomo and on the main street that leads to all the shops, restaurants and cafes as well as Piazza de Campo. We walked the streets, and it was easy to get around. The staff at the hotel were excellent with Sergio being very welcoming and providing great support and assistance when needed. Highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Siena. Just remember it is a hilly place with lots of slope walking required, but it was manageable and easy enough if you have a base fitness. We love Siena and the hotel was terrific for our exploring. I suggest including the breakfast and just remember it is an old city.

The hotel is right in the middle of Sienna and it is easy to walk everywhere. I really appreciated Raolo (I think that is his name) at the front desk for giving me information about finding a parking spot. That's always the challenge in this city.

Too much noise from other rooms, cleaning staff talked very loud outside the door in the morning. No english or american tv channels only italian. Parking too far away.
