To me the hotel would be great if it had a better bar and seating area outside to relax and have a drink before dinner and to chill after a walk around the town and even get a night cap before bed

The only reason it's an 8 and not a 9 is that the way the window in our room is designed, the AC doesn't circulate—it blasts right into a strange ledge that absorbs that cool, so it did become noticeably warm during the night.

A king bed! What a delight (and for how restless a sleeper I am, to be able to not bother my husband's sleep, a lifesaver). For that alone, we'd come back and stay there every time. But it was also so clean and well-maintained. And since we were coming in very late at night, the location (right by the train station) was ideal. Two thumbs way up!

The room is very spacious and hotel feels luxurious. It is a pity that we only stayed for a night. Hotel is abt 10-15 min walk from the SM novella train station and 5 min ftom the tram station (connection to the airport).

On the third day of our stay we were moved to adjacent rooms with a shared balcony and sent a complimentary bottle of Prosecco all in time to celebrate my 60th birthday

Bathroom was very small. Air conditioner is behind a curtain, so it takes a long time to cool the room. Can’t open curtains as it’s a ground floor room and all privacy would be lost. Also the room has a very high ceiling so I expect this is also affecting the cooling. The biggest issue was the vicinity of the reception area to our door. It was literally right outside our door and we could hear every conversation. The walkway from one area of hotel to the other was also right outside the door, so it was pretty noisy.

There is only 1 road and there was always traffic. So it was difficult for a taxi or Uber to stop and pick us up.

The entire staff was wonderful. The breakfast was good. They even packed our bkfst to go since we had to leave at 630am. The rooms were clean and nice. Shower pressure was awesome. They have a patio courtyard we enjoyed time there as well. It was nice to have coffee in the room.

The bed was hard as Carrera marble. Our room, while spacious, was in a strange location off the interior parking lot.

Desk staff was great. Breakfast was very good. Location was great. A block from the train station but no noise.

Very comfortable room and bed. Great choice of breakfast. The staff were al very friendly and spoke very good English. The standard of the hotel is what we are used to here in the UK. It was a 5 minute walk to train station and 10 -15 minutes to the centre but we managed ok. Lots of good restaurants and plenty of museums and places of interest. Would like to spend more time there.

Mosquitoes in the room. And when we arrived, the front desk acted like no one had ever left their bags there before. I’ve never had that experience at a hotel before.
