Good location just a short walking distance from Milano Centrale station. Room size is ok not too small and If you need the kettle you can ask from the reception. Also the reception only works from 8am-11pm , so you'd better check in before 11pm since you have to press the intercom to get inside for the fist time.

Yes but not the cockroach

Very near to the station, staff is very helpful (she help me find the nearest laundry because all of my clothes were wetted on the bus) but the room a bit small and i found cockroaches at the counter.

The room was comfortable although it was small and very dark. The lighting was not adequate. We would have liked a coffee machine in our room.

The hotel is quite hard to find as it is on the first floor of a building. You need to buzz in to gain access to the building. We also found the rooms were quite hot. The air-conditioning didn't go any lower than 22 so we had to open the windows which meant we got a lot of noise from the traffic / streets outside.

The room was very nicely decorated and clean. Plus it was a good size. The location was perfect as it was opposite Milan Centrale station which has direct links to all the main areas. We arrived after midnight (1am) and after contacting them through booking.com, they made it easy to check in remotely when we arrived.

Poor sound insulation—the room was near the reception, and we could hear everything. However, there weren’t many guests in the hotel, so it didn’t bother us. No dishes or slippers in the room. A shelf in the bathroom and shower would be a nice addition.

Excellent location—close to the train station, several metro lines, and great places to eat. Clean and comfortable.

We were asked to check out earlier than expected. Also, if you have a late flight, access to the hotel is possible until midnight—we managed to make it in time

The down side of the proximity to the main road is the noise of the street, I am quite sensitive to car noise so that had affected my sleep

I was quite positively surprsed with the quality. The young lady at the reception was very nice and helpful, she told me where to get food in the neighbourhood, the bed was super comfy and the room large, its also right outside the train station so all in all its a great place with very decent prices.

As other reviewers have noted, the lights by the bed are dim so it was hard to read. Also, there were no glasses, so you couldn't get a glass of water from the tap.

Location was excellent, very close to the train station. The staff member on duty was helpful and courteous. The, room was well designed, and clean. Everything worked. I appreciated having a window that you could open. We would certainly return.

I recently stayed at the AV Hotel Milano during a business trip, and it was a great choice for a short stay. The hotel is located right next to Milan’s central train station, which made it incredibly convenient for travel. The room was ideal for a single night, offering everything I needed without unnecessary frills. As someone who doesn’t require much space, I appreciated the big bed, a handy place to hang my clothes, and a clean bathroom with a shower. The stylish boutique design was a nice touch, especially considering the affordable rate. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and while the room service options were limited, it wasn’t a big deal since the price reflected this. The location was excellent, with a short walk to some nice restaurants for dinner. One small downside was the lack of visible stairs—I had to rely on the lift, and being a bit impatient, waiting for it was a minor inconvenience. However, the hotel offered card access at all hours, which added to the overall convenience. In summary, the AV Hotel Milano is a clean, stylish, and well-priced option for business travelers or anyone passing through Milan. I’d happily stay here again for a quick, no-fuss trip.

Extremely close to Milano Centrale. Perfect for traveling (Turin, Bergamo one day tours etc) and underground access.

Still lacking some basic amenities in the room like an electric kettle and towel rack. Very small counter space in the bathroom.

The room was a bit cold during the night. We turned on the heating which heated parts of the room, but not the area where the bed is located. A small downside to a very good stay.

Perfect location, right next to the magnificent Central Train Station. The staff was very kind and helpful every time. The room was nice, especially the bathroom.
