No air-conditioning 🥺 and the hairdryer is useless. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. All good apart from that.

The hotel staff are lovely and it's reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet included scrambled egg which is always a hit with me. House keeping came everyday and you get shower gel etc. We had a gorgeous view from our room.

Breakfast wasn’t great, but the hotel seemed a little quieter our first morning so maybe they put less on, was a lot of sweet options and only two hot options, scrambled eggs and hot dog type sausages, I didn’t have breakfast the second morning when the hotel seemed busier

Rooms were a bit dated but that's ok. The location made up for it and the rooms were very clean and hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Not a great selection at breakfast. Walls were very thin, you could hear everything in the room next door. Rooms at the front have the road noise but the windows had shutters which helped alleviate noise during the night.

Small friendly hotel with lovely gardens and pool area. Good location as long as you don’t mind a 15 minute walk into centre of Sorrento and train station. Rooms at the back have a lovely view.

Noise. You need ear plugs to sleep. There is no door between reception desk and rooms, during night all noise from front desk comes to the rooms. Felt someone was dragging suitcases in 3 in the morning over the stone stairs every night.

Hotel Girasole was the perfect getaway in the heart of Sorrento. Conveniently located along the Main Street leading into Sorrento town. The staff were extremely helpful and lovely to interact with, noting that the pool staff also went above and beyond with their service. The property was immaculately clean and has a beautiful view of the Amalfi Coast.

Dinner at the hotel is ok, but if you love food you'll be disappointed. The hotel is on a very busy road that has a very narrow path.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful! The pool area was great. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel was very clean. Pool towels can be hired for €3 each.

Was very noisy - thin walls between rooms and some traffic noise. Bathroom was very small and there was only 1 plug socket in the room. Breakfast staff was not the most welcoming.

I cannot say there was something I didn’t like about the hotel, other than the access on a busy road.

The breakfast was good/sufficient. Access was easy although walking to and from the hotel involved walking on a busy and narrow main road.

it is a bit of a hike to the lively (busy) centre of Sorrento and train station (900 metres) But that also makes it a nice quiet location as well.

Hotel Girasole is a little gem. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate and had a nice balcony with a great view of Mt Vesuvius and the sea. This hotel is not right in the heart of the historic centre, and does require a 15 minute walk to the main square etc. There is a local bus (under 2 euro or taxis (20 euro) if you prefer not to walk that far. Breakfast was large with hot and cold choices. You can enjoy it in a beautiful garden area or inside. The pool was lovely with a very reasonably priced bar service. I would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately our room was on the roadside which was very loud. The exhaust from the vehicles also made its way up to our room, so we kept the windows closed during the day while we were out. This made the room warm when we returned, but not smelly. I asked to switch but was told “No” immediately. I think they were sold out, because the woman didn’t even look at the books. Wasn’t a fan of not being able to bring our own drinks to the pool. That being said the cost of a glass of wine was cheaper than a usual restaurant or bar. Still more expensive than bringing our own though.

Breakfast was great! The pool area was lovely. Price was good. Close to public pier/beach. Maybe too far from the old town of Sorrento for some, but we liked able to escape the crowds. The staff were very friendly.

Very dated basic furniture, tiny bathroom, 2 single beds rather than double, located on the very busy, noisy, dirty main road in sorrento. Hairdryer almost useless and very very old

Pool area great, quiet as back from road and lots of spa e (in May) and great service from staff for drinks and snacks. Breakfast very good too (didn’t eat in evening). Reception staff very welcoming

The sockets were very old and barely worked, there was only one socket in the bedroom beside the door and the other in the bathroom. A bit annoying for trying to charge phones.

Nice quiet location within walking distance to Sorrento centre and to the train station.

Location was a little far from the center but very walkable. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Staff, specially the reception staff were very pleasant and attentive! Breakfast had a wide variety.
