Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. Any and all requests were honored, and assistance was offered. The room is very clean. Love the on-site restaurant, and the bar is well stocked. One block from Roma Termini is so convenient. Walk a couple blocks at your at the Basilica where Pope Francis is in turned.

Great central Rome location, near train station and metro. Busy area so expect some traffic noise . Beautiful old hotel with comfortable beds, hot showers, good breakfast.

The decor of the room is outdated, and the furniture is old.
The staff was warm and welcoming, spoke good English and had a sense of humor. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was nice.

The service from the staff is always exceptional!! The rooms are always very clean with plenty of extras. Breakfast is extensive and the staff there is also very attentive! Just a great hotel in the center of Roma!!

Somewhat disappointing breakfast buffet for a 4 star hotel, also loud radio music on speakers in the breakfast room which was a disturbance. No major complaints apart from this, and very pleased with the stay overall!
Beautiful room with good size and very high ceiling, very comfortable bed. Staff was mainly pleasant, but seemed a bit stressed at times, especially during breakfast.

The customer service center replied the customer message was very slow, basically not working to solve the problem. The breakfast was ok but too expensive not worth the price

I like the helpful staff the relaxed atmosphere and the rooftop bar in the sister hotel across the road was spectacular! I also liked the fact that I could leave my bags safely there all day after checking out because I had a late flight and when I came back, I could relax in the lounge use the bathroom etc. It was very convenient and close to the main station, from which I went straight to the airport.

Sewage smell came from the bathroom.

Honestly, nothing, everything is wonderful and bright
From the first moment I arrived at the hotel late at night, and I was supposed to check in at 2 p.m., the surprise was that the person in charge of the reception found me a wonderful room and accommodated me in it. The hotel is truly creative, wonderful, proficient, and humane. The receptionist, you are wonderful.

There is no backrest for the bed which is a little bit inconvenient if you'd like to read for a while before sleeping. The room itself is quite, though for consecutive 2-3 days, there were people talking loudly (at least feeling loudly) in the hall way around 5am - I was waked up by that talking, though I didn't really try to open the door to interrupt - my guess is that the people who were talking might be cleaners who just came to start working (not 100% sure).
The location is excellent, very close to the main train station and subway stops for lines A & B. The breakfast is excellent too. The room is relatively small, but good enough for a single person.
