There’s nothing we didn’t like, it met the description, was clean small rooms and is a bit older looking inside. I was a little nervous from other reviews but we found it had daily cleaning, a comfy bed, great shower pressure and heat, and the only minor thing is that the rooms are on the smaller side. This place is really good value for money.

The staff are super friendly and location can’t be beaten! It’s a good value for money accomodation, super clean and has everything you need. We stayed 5 days and had a good time!

This review is hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

The Hotel would benefit from a sign with the Hotel's name hanging outside the building. It was not easy to find it when I arrived in the evening. Also, the water went missing twice which, although was not the Hotel's fault, was an inconvenience.

Location is excellent, easy to reach on foot from Termini train station and right in the city centre. Staff was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

Our room was small to us, the hotel was to simple. The toilet and the bothroom was both for every person and we can't eat breakfast here but we want it as we wrote.

We enjoyed the most at the middle of the city. We were happy because every famous place was close to us.

It had all we needed. Rudy was very friendly and took great care of us! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Very safe area near all attractions and minutes from Termini train station.

Excellent location. A bit worn down in places, the management made me pay the taxes in cash (seems questionable and cost me a bundle to withdraw it), and the rooms have showers but not toilets (you share those with the hall). No AC but had fans.

Good location. Cute old elevators. Clean. Good value (not expensive). Tiny on-site bathroom - toilet, bidet, big sink, shower - all new and clean. Patio on courtyard. Rudy was a good host. High ceiling.

The receptionist was bit rude and arrogant, so please get prepared for such behavior. Apart from this we really had nice stay.

Booked a room with a private bathroom but there was a mix up and got a room with no bathroom and had to use shared bathroom, I was refunded straight away and the bathrooms were spotless clean so I worked out ok

The shared bathroom with several other rooms was the biggest complaint about hotel Texas. Wi-Fi was mostly poor quality so we had to come near reception to manage some actions on internet.

The location of the hotel is the most valuable thing about hotel Texas. It is settled near almost all important historical buildings and attractions in Rome. Rooms could have been warmer. More bath linens maybe some hooks on the wall and another mirror besides the bathroom mirror would be nice. Lovely old building and convenient to the train station.

We opted not to get the breakfast. We were cold in the room several times. Staff was very good and tried to help all they could. Helpful with train tickets and information. The beds where super comfortable.

Bathroom could have been a bit bigger, also only frosted glass window between that and the room, so little privacy. Main problem was a low-battery indicator in reception which beeped continuously in the night (no-one in reception to attend to it) which made sleep really difficult some nights. There was a door separating reception from the bedroom area, but someone kept leaving it open.

Good, comfortable beds. Location is good - 15 min walk to the historic centre of Rome, with nearby cafes etc, and a 15 min walk to the main railway station and airport buses. Manager, Rudi, was friendly enough. Access was 24 hours once we had received the keys. Nice old building, well-worn over the decades. No significant street noise.
