There was anything really to dislike. The service at the front desk was very friendly and hospitable. One morning we had an early tour so they graciously packed as a “to go” breakfast with a great Cappuccino too!

We loved the location of the hotel. It was close to the water, decent area to walk around to restaurants. It was comfortable and they served a nice breakfast.

The only thing was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work, but I guess this wasn’t really their fault. This could be a problem depending on what you need to do. If possible, the property should see about more reliable internet providers.

Very convenient if you need to go to the US Consulate as this hotel is right next to it, one minute on foot. The room was clean and the bathroom spotless. All of the staff was exceptional. They booked a taxi for me to go to the medical appointment. Once I was done, I called them and Miss Fortuna had a taxi show up for me in five minutes. Breakfast was included and buffet. Because of its location there are plenty of places to eat at nearby.

The kitchenette offered no utensils at all. In our first, two-storey room, air conditoning was a bit inefficient due to the room size, but we had no such problem in our second room. Some people sensitive to traffic may need to specifically ask for a quieter room, there are a few of those available.

Good location in Chiaia, with a seashore promenade, a park, restaurants, supermarkets, metro line 2 nearby and a bus connection to areas of tourists’ interest. The hotel is located on the first floor of a guarded apartement building, our rooms faced a side street and the inner yard. Rooms offer plenty of space and storage, a baby cot (available for a modest fee) fits easily. The building and especially the interior is in great condition, the bar is especially beautiful. The staff was just lovely and ready to assist in many ways, even volunteered for a few minutes of babysitting during breakfast - a great help for hungry parents. Coffee and drinks are available round the clock, but there also is a reasonably priced minibar in rooms, offering a little space for own food and beverage items too. They were very flexible when our toilet flush got broken and helped us to move to another, even better room without delay.

The staff at the hotel were excellent, they are an example of what customer service should be. To say that they were welcoming and helpful is an understatement. The hotel is immaculate, with bedding and towels changed daily. Location is good, a short walk to the train station, about 5 minutes gives you easy connectivity to explore the region.

The staff working there is amazing, very nice and cheerful and with a home atmosphere. Special thanx to the beautiful lady working at breakfast for fulfilling our coffee wishes :) Location is also pretty good. It is a bit out of the city, however, there is a direct bus line to Garibaldi in front of the hotel, and also Mergellina train/metro station 5mins of walk from the hotel. Also, if you like the walking, the Naples' lungomare starts next to the hotel and leads all the way to the city centre. It's a nice walk.

Hotel is limited by not being able to signpost its exact location but it would be useful if they could find a way around this restriction of being a listed building because it was a bit difficult to find. Maybe a sign on lamposts nearby to indicate where it is located ?

We could not have been happier with our short stay. Fortuna was an exceptional host and allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel before our check-in, helped us find taxi services, and recommended excellent food options in the area. we stayed in the Queen room with the jacuzzi, it was an incredible experience that I wish I could come back to often as it was a lot of fun, the room is beautiful, the staff is so helpful, friendly and kind and I had the best ever breakfast in the room catered to my coeliac needs with fresh gluten free croissants, bread, eggs, jam, coffee and juice. They gave us the most delicious coffee on arrival and at check out at their beautiful tea room/bar with stunning painted ceilings.
