As it is on the main road, you will want to have a room at the back in case you would like to sleep in

The downside of the location is that there is nowhere within walking distance so if you want to eat there's only the restaurant which, though excellent, isn't cheap. Be aware of this if you're on a tight budget. Having said which, given the quality of the food I wouldn't want to suggest it's overpriced, you get what you pay for. The food is fantastic. Really nothing much to dislike at all.

The location was great in one way - literally on the main road so no detour on a long journey. The room was excellent, Nespresso machine on the landing, the shower even had a built in sauna. The restaurant was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. All round a great place to stay.

The restaurant was very expensive and as the hotel is located alone and not in a village, there was no altyernative. The menu was overly fussy and the staff were unable to explain the menu

Lovely hotel room in the heart of the mountains, with beautiful terrace overlooking the view and very comfortable bed. Friendly and professional staff, who were helpful in finding solutions to store my bike. I would highly recommend!

The welcome and kindness of all the staff was exceptional. The room was spotless and comfortable. The restaurant served the most exquisite food in a tranquil and beautiful setting. Truly wonderful. Breakfast equally abundant and in an elegant and welcoming breakfast room. I will return!

Location on the road. Parking was icy so it needed to be careful to avoid slipping.

We had a very good stay in locanda La Clusaz. Room had right size and was quiet. Excellent breakfast and very kind staff. The restaurant is exceptional with prices in line with the high level of food and service.. Private parking. Room prices are cheap compared to the quality.

The restaurant is expensive and not tasty. We spent 281 euro for 3 adults and 1 child. Moreover, they forgot the last dish from the set of 5 dishes and I had to remind them. Traditional menu 55 euro, but its too much. We took 2 rooms, one smelled like sewage and had to be ventilated. They promised to give me a superior room, but they gave me a regular one.

Overall it will do for 1 night. Normal plumbing. They have hot water and coffee for free in floor.

The host welcomed us with warmth and kindly showed us around the property steeped in history..There was a strong sense of old school hospitality. The accomodation was tasteful whilst still being warm and welcoming. We would gladly stay here again.
