An amazing two nights at Camarda. It felt very homely and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Alex was so helpful and friendly, along with his father Cesare, who greeted us and gave us a tour of the property. The Masseria is a quiet paradise and very relaxing. The rooms are very traditional in the stone built buildings, but super comfortable. Authenticity for the region which we highly recommend trying. Breakfast had lots of options of farm sourced products - fruits, jams, cakes and fresh hen eggs. We even got the olive oil they had handpicked the day before which was incredible. Only downside for us was that it was out of season so their restaurant wasn’t open, so it was a good 10 min drive to find some dinner. If you stay - definitely do the cheese farm tour which is 5 minutes away and a great experience. Would 100% recommend Camrada to friends and family.

When we were there the restaurant was closed both nights due to private events. This was not a problem but was a shame as we would have liked to be able to eat on site rather than drive to a local restaurant. You will need a car if you are staying in this property.

This is a lovely little family run masseria in the middle of the countryside. The hosts are extremely friendly and the room and pool area was great. The breakfast was very tasty. It's a drive away from the nearest town where there are nice restaurants and bars. If you like Formula One, you will be fascinated by the owner's history!

Lovely property with great staff. The pool is very nice and the walks around the property are very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent, especially with the fresh eggs and ricotta.

Not a dislike but a tip for any guests - car hire is a must

We can't recommend a stay at Masseria Camarda enough and hope we get a chance to stay again sometime soon. The food was amazing, and we recommend having dinner at the Masseria at least once. The gardens are full of fruit and vegetables that you can enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds. It was too cool to try the swimming pool, but we enjoyed lounging around the gardens in the afternoons.

Amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and caring. It is under family management which makes you feel at home. The ingredients are all locally sourced and have an amazing taste (try the Bloody Mary). Alex the owner and his daughter Sara are two amazing hosts. Generally the property is very well taken care of. the rooms are clean and large.

The internet was unstable at times

What's not to like? The location is excellent in the heart of Puglia. The masseria is situated quietly in nature and farmland with a wonderful garden with all kinds of fruits and a charming pool. The trullo is spacious and welcoming with a private garden and courtyard. The breakfast too good, there is serious risk of overeating. There is attention to every detail of the place and your stay. And the hosts are very kind people (with impressive personal stories) proudly sharing the place they love. Bonus: follow Alex' lead in restaurants and you will experience the best the area has to offer.

wonderful friendly staff and Alex and Sarah were wonderful. The breakfast was exceptional. Lovely walks and pool and produce from the farm. However you do need a car as is in the country side.

We felt very welcomed. The whole family were super friendly and the garden pool was child friendly and perfect for cooling off after a day of sightseeing. The wonderful collective of family dogs added to the whole experience.
