On the first night, our room was very hot compared to the air conditioned corridors, It seemed as though the windows to our room had been left open, which had made the room warm and we weren't able to feel the benefits of the air conditioning until a couple of nights into our stay. There was also a slight musty smell in our room, as it was one that had not been renovated.

The pool area was great and breakfast was good with a range of options and a nice balcony to eat on. Overall cleanliness of communal areas was great. Staff were friendly and attentive. The hill was a slight inconvenience, but the lovely views on the walk down made it worth it!

Location, way too far from action with no footpath for much of the trek. Pool area is run down. Breakfast is average and toaster is broken.

The only thing I would say was the hill up to the hotel but it was manageable.

Very tidy, pretty hotel. Clean rooms, beautiful landscape, good breakfast and nice and helpful staff! 1/2h walk to city down the hillside, bus also goes near to hotel often and is cheap. Easy to go other places near Sorrento.

Great hotel,situated on the road out of Sorrento with bus stops just up the road, the walk into Sorrento took around 15 mins. We stayed three nights, taking their advice on a day trip to Capri which I highly recommend, it was a small group tour. Next door to the hotel is a lovely little restaurant which I would also recommend. The hotel is lovely and clean, however our room was a little dated, particularly the bathroom. We also struggled with the noise from other guests, particularly on our corridor, who were extremely noisy into the early hours. Breakfast was good, but we did not have dinner. All the staff were lovely, particularly the barman in the evening and the guy who checked us in and advised us on the trips.

The decor is slightly dated and lighting in the bathroom dim, however, these are only minor issues. We arrived the day after it opened for the season so everything was clean and fresh.

It was clean and comfortable. The team were amazing and helpful and gave us some good local tips! The food in the restaurant was also fantastic.

Walk to hotel from main town did not have paving all the way (maybe 70%). We didn’t mind too much - you can google earth the route down to see. (The walk does have a beautiful view though!!)

The pool & room were really nice and clean - matched photos and bathroom was nice too. All recently furnished. Also very close to the Queen Giovanna Baths - short walk

Unfortunately we were in a room behind reception which was a little noisy but we were so tired from our adventures we didn’t notice too much. The walk to Sorrento does mean walking along a busy road without a foot path for half the way but as long as you are sensible it’s pretty straightforward and safe. It’s a full 30mins to get to the train station. Get a taxi if arriving with luggage by train! Only real complaint is the cleaners left our window open during the day and unfortunately we had a couple of mosquitoes get in our room. Which means I have a few bites.

Very clean and pleasant hotel with reasonable bar and food prices! Room was comfortable and WiFi worked well. Fairly close to the centre of Sorrento with a 15 minute walk into town. Staff were really friendly and helpful especially when we had an early check out!

Difficult to get a bus into the city. Having to pay for a pool towel was very petty for an upmarket hotel.

Breakfast was excellent as were dinners and drinks at the hotel. Pool was very nice. Scenery was good.

The hotel is like 20 - 25 min walk from the city center. There is a bus stop almost in front of the hotel and it is very convenient to use it (you can buy the bus ticket with a card from the bus). The capuccino at breakfast was horrible - they gave me a soluble powder capuccino instead of a real Italian one. Huge disappointment!

The hotel is very nice. They have their own private parking right in front of the hotel. The room was very big and with a terrace. The bath was also quite big. The staff is nice. The breakfast is OK but nothing special. They were so kind to let us leave the car at their parking after we checked out so that we had time to explore Sorrento.

Certain parts of the property felt quite dated, I.e, the bathrooms.

The staff — all members of staff, including bar, breakfast and night staff, were amazing. We felt really taken care of, in particular the gentleman working night shift who went over and above every time we saw him to check we had an umbrella for the rain, pressing the lift button before we arrived so it was there, and ensuring our orders were taken at the bar when no one was around.

Water in the outdoor pool on a chilly side, while other open air swimming pools in near by hotels was pleasantly warmer. Mosquitoes close to the pool (corner close to bushes and vegetation) were annoying, so we had to move away, luckily we found areas where they were absent. Hotel located adjacent to to quite busy road, on a sharp bend, so noise of traffic was disturbing, aggregated by warning horns used by drivers quite often - not idyllic...

Not much, everything was great for what you pay. Small issues with flies and rain water coming in through the door. Nothing major.

Comfortable bed, pool area is nice (except for by the trees as there’s a lot of mosquitoes! , pool bar has wide selection. Location not far from sorrento, 5 minutes walk with no path, then further 10 minute walk to centre.

Coffee!! Considering we were in Italy, the coffee was terrible. Coffee at breakfast in most hotels normally isn't great but this was the worst we've had so far, like boiled coffee. We thought the coffee in the bar area would be good as they had a machine but that was just as bad. I don't think the staff knew how to work it correctly (definitely the case for cappuccino because the milk wasn't done correctly) or the quality of coffee beans was terrible - very bitter.

Lovely hotel, v friendly staff which made a huge difference to our stay. Breakfast was good, enough selection for everyone. Bar food v. good.
