Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

What a wonderful hotel! Upon arrival the bell staff greeted us and assisted with luggage. The woman that checked us in was extremely friendly and professional. Our room was lovely. Spacious and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was very good. We loved the location because so much was within a ten minute walk but not in the thick of the hoards of people. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and stay again.

Beautiful hotel in old palazzo in Santa Croce district. Luxurious rooms, great breakfast and bar. Excellent staff througout. This was our fourth visit and we will return to this hotel. I took us 20 years to find this gem in Florence and we 'plan to stay anywhere else.

AustraliaNo balcony to enjoy the views but at no fault of the hotel. We had a window we could see some of the city and the Duomo. We had dinner at the restaurant and for the price we weren’t too impressed with the food. We had better food in many of the city’s restaurants. The breakfast was good.
Cleanliness, excellent location close to all the things to do in Florence, amazing service from front desk, cleaning staff & restaurant staff, parking available with an electric charger.

We are a family of 5 and we ordered 2 rooms. We loved the size of the rooms, the hotel ambiance and decor, the personal service, but most incredible was the staff. Every single staff member in this hotel is professional, accurate, caring - high quality service indeed. Our stay was super incredible. And the hotel is situated within a walking distance of everything.

My family and I loved everything about our experience at Baglioni Hotel Santa Croce. From the prompt and professional email responses to my various questions and requests prior to arrival to the staff during our entire stay, everything was beyond incredible. The hotel is gorgeous, with its rich history, amazing location, large and spacious air conditioned rooms and the amazing perfume scent permeating the entire property! We travel ALOT and this was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at in all of Europe. What a hidden gem! Highly recommend!
