Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwedenOur room was slightly on the small side. You shouldn't have to pay separately for the pool.
Gabriella is super friendly, hard working, welcoming, and kind. The breakfast is very welll worth it. The view is amazing. As almost every other review says, you have to have dinner here at least once. Portions are generous and everything is delicious.

United StatesTraffic on coastal road is very congested and parking is even worse, we traveled in mid Sept. Definitely take bus and allot for more time if travelling to coastal towns.
Great views and very peaceful. Gabbrellia was very helpful. Breakfast was great. Had dinner one night and it was great. Onsite parking Short 1 hour drive to Pompeii ruins was definitely worth the visit.

United KingdomA little gem in a small town with plenty of places to wine & dine. Gabriella and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming. The view is stunning and the little pool is charming. We stayed 5 nights and drove to the towns in Amalfi coast without any hassle. Loved everything about Nido Degli Dei and hope to be back again !

United KingdomNothing. But I think there could be a tiny improvement which is providing more complementary shampoos and soaps as-well as a conditioner in a bigger container and to have a mini fridge in each room. :)
Firstly the location of the property wasn’t tricky to reach as there was a bus stop only 5 minutes to walk from, also the tickets were quite cheap and there was a bus available quite frequently for every 30 minutes at the stop. The property is located at a height on a cliff so it has a mesmerising view. The room was all clean, tidy and beautifully decorated, the room was also daily cleaned and so was the bathroom daily equipped with plenty of new clean towels. Gabriella was so friendly and helpful, she recommended places to visit and helped us how to get to each place, we even had dinner one night in the hotel and all I can say is that it was my favourite meal of the trip. The breakfast was delicious, it had a variety of food such as brioches, cereal, vegetables, cheese, bread, jams, butter, juices and so on, it was suitable if anyone preferred a sweet or salty breakfast. Gabriella even gave us a choice of a hot drink to have for breakfast which was for free as-well, there was cappuccino, hot chocolate, espresso and tea. If you weren’t spending a night out in one of the popular places in the Amalfi coast but you still wanted to eat somewhere or hangout, there was plaza located exactly where the bus stop is which is only a 5 minute walk, the plaza has a gelateria and delicious restaurants to try I recommend da Leonardos restaurant. I wish I could return to spend even more days in that place, the stay was exceptional and everything met the standards and I can say we left fully satisfied. :)

New ZealandThis was the perfect place to stay while in the Amalfi Coast - amazing scenic views, the most hospitable staff, and lovely neighbourhood. Quiet area, with enough restaurants around to eat locally, while still close enough to pop down into the different areas like Amalfi, Positano etc. Would most definitely stay again!

Our stay was absolutely incredible, do you need a car to get here? Yes absolutely but it's so worth it. The view is incredible and Gabriella & her son Salvatore are the sweetest. We stayed for 3 nights, the breakfast in the morning is basic but it does the job. Our room was a little dark as we were on the top floor but it didn't bother us too much. The pool is cold but in the heat it's refreshing, it is on the small side and there's only 6 sunbeds but we made it work. We also had a cooking lesson with Gabriella and made gnocchi from scratch along with a lemon tart which was delicious. There's some places for dinner within 10 mins walking and to drive to the beaches like Amalfi or Minori takes about 45 minutes as the mountain roads are so small and curvey.

Czech Republic-everytime we were using the pool something was the problem, once were told we cant sit on the corner of it, once we should calm down (we were just laughing), once we made mess on the terrace (water was on the floor from us going out of the pool- still wondering how we should do it to go out of the pool dry 🧐) -the family was arguing all the time -breakfast is average
Nice view and two nice separate bedrooms, I am giving 9 because we liked agerola and views and presence of the pool

United StatesThe B&B is located in a high, rural area of the Amalfi Coast and isn't easily accessible unless you're in a car or are driving a scooter. I don't recall the room having a television, but if it did, then I wasn't able to figure out how to use it, because I remember having to pull up Netflix on my laptop when I was ready to settle in for a movie. The only other thing was that our bathroom had a giant window, and anyone sitting on the deck by the pool could see directly into our shower. We tried to adjust the window blinds, but couldn't figure out how to shut them for effective privacy. Thus, we showered in the dark. These things were NOTHING, though, compared to ALL of the wonderfulness of Nido Degli Dei!!
Nido Degli Dei is AMAZING!! The views are SPECTACULAR, the facilities are BEAUTIFUL, and Gabriella (the owner) is PRICELESS (She was one of the only friendly Italians I met during my 2-week trip to Italy.). While there, when my colleague and I walked the surrounding neighborhood, we noted that none of the other B&Bs in the area (and there were several) included a panoramic view and a swimming pool, like Nido Degli Dei does. Speaking of the pool, the water was COLD. This was unexpected being that it was the end of June and the B&B was so high on the hill, but the water was a nice reprieve from the hot sun. Our room had a PHENOMENAL large balcony that we accessed through elegant, curtain-swathed double doors, and the bed was comfy. There was also ample parking, and Gabriella laid out a huge breakfast in the morning that included a lot of variety. Although the B&B is somewhat remote, the town center was only a short walk away, as was a GREAT restaurant that was separated from a fancy hotel only by an INCREDIBLE outdoor, floral-draped sitting area in front of an UNBELIEVABLE panoramic view of the ocean. I'd DEFINITELY go back!
