We were booked as bed & breakfast but, whilst we would pick this hotel again, we would probably book the room only, and not bother with breakfast.

The small size of the shower and i think a little refresh would be interesting without breaking the vintage style.

It was a great stay at the Hotel Reale. Very well placed to explore around. And the vintage style decor is a plus. The pool is charming although I wasn't able to use it because the weather wasn't' good enough. The staff was very nice, special mention to the lady at the desk who was lovely. Good, fairly central location. On site parking - chargeable Friendly, helpful staff - gave recommendations for dinner (Imperiale - which was great) and for a lovely gelateria. They also were happy to prepare a light lunch for us when we arrived after the dining room had closed. Spacious bedroom with good wardrobe space and OK bathroom Nice pool area - 3 Euro charge for a towel - but it's fairly shaded with limited sun-loungers / seating

No bottled water provided in rooms. No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities unless charged. Lack of ambience in the bar and dining room, no music and regimented tables.

A clean but very basic room. Certainly not the ones shown on Booking.com! Ample choice at breakfast although overseen by quite a serious young man watching our every move. Mostly the staff were pleasant and housekeeping was excellent. Evening meals were a disappointment. Basic 3 courses which sound amazing but blue fin shark and side salad was shark and lettuce! Better to sample some of the better local restaurants. Lovely pool but a charge for pool towels.

The dinner menu was very limited. Most guests chose to eat out in the evening, which we chose to do after the first night.

The hotel was lovely and in a very good area near to all the amenities. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast very much.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Apparently you could get them for €7 but the hotel staff didn’t advise me of that another guest told me about it after it was too late. I have to say I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and never had to pay extra. The air conditioning wasn’t working and again I wasn’t told this by the staff, only when I went to reception to say I couldn’t get it going was I told. Breakfast wasn’t included in my package but I paid for it one morning but it was frugal, not a lot of choice.

The pool area was lovely and the pool itself good. The communal seating areas were comfortable and fairly quiet. The room was nicely laid out and the bed comfortable, I had a good sized balcony which I hadn’t expected.

We found the early/ mid century decor charming, but may not be the place for you if you want something modern and recently renovated. It did not affect us, but we saw a water leak in another part of the hotel. It appeared to be dealt with quickly.

Great central location and a charming setting. Son took full advantage of the small pool. We enjoyed sitting in the green terrace area after the heat of the day. Staff were helpful and did their best to speak English, a few words of Italian help too. The room was clean, a/c worked well, and it had a balcony. The housekeeping staff were friendly too.

The management are stupid, they don't understand technology. Trying to make us pay twice, argued for twenty minutes before he realised he was wrong. No apology and we missed our train.

The evening meal was ok but we thought there was room for improvement.nothing else bothered us.

The staff were very helpful and jolly. The hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. The breakfast was very good. 6 minute walk from the train station, making it easy to visit Pica, Florence and Luca.

The shower/bath in our room is an accident waiting to happen. It needs taking out and just a shower put in. It was our only complaint.

The hotel was really lovely and clean. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was filling. The room was big and we enjoyed having the balcony. The hotel is in a good position, easy walking to everything, having the pool was a bonus. The garage for parking is a little tight . We really enjoyed our stay and can see why people come back.
